I stole a helicopter in a safezone

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned because I lockpicked and stole a helicopter within the boundaries of the airport, and I then disputed it with a staff member who believed I was lying. At that time I was not sure where the safezone was, and I, as you can see, was wrong.

Why should we unban you ?
I think after 6 months at least now, my ban has served as rehabilitation and I think I am ready to be unbanned and let back into the community. I don't believe what I did was severe enough to keep me banned for 6 months, but I do think I have changed and matured in this period of time. Thank you for taking your time to read this.

Just to clear off - you could have out in an appeal at any time, you did not have to wait 6 months. 

So you stole a helicopter within the greenzone, which was on the helipad. How could you not have noticed where it was? The airport is even a spawnplace, which you surely must have known with the amount of hours you've had here. 

Also, one major issue in your ban was you constantly lying. You tried to lie about where you stole it from, but after being told that you had been watched stealing it, you toned down. Then you tried to lie and persuade the staff member into giving you a warning since you "had not played for 6-12 months". This was an obvious lie, as we have the stats that shows when you've playef on our servers. Lying seems like a go-to-option for you. Is this going to be a problem? Either here in the unban appeal or if you were to get unbanned? How can we trust anything you say when you have shown that you prefer to lie?

 
Honestly I'm not really sure what to answer you on that, other than that I have matured ever since that occurence and I hope you would give me another chance. I don't really remember what happened that clearly, as 6 months has passed since. Also I wasn't sure when to post my ban appeal, as I thought I had to wait half a year.

I can assure you that you won't have another situation like this with me.

[SIZE=medium]Green zones are “Safe” areas where players are able to convene without hostile interruption. They are not safe havens from the law however, Police can attempt to arrest you.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Blue zones are “Police” areas where extra protections are afforded to Police.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=medium]Red zones are “Hostile” areas where certain rules are suspended.
 
(6.0.1) You must not abuse the boundaries of any marked zone on the map. Using the boundary to troll/taunt or temporarily gain protection is forbidden.

(6.1.1) You must not attempt to kill anyone in a green zone.[/SIZE]

I broke rule 6.1.4

I am not allowed to lockpick or steal a helicopter/vehicle within the green zone in which I did. This is against the rules and I have been banned because of that. You have that rule in place for example to protect players from criminal actions against them in a spawn zone, in which it is. Also it could be because it is an unrealistic place to commit a crime of that nature.

 
Why did you do it, and why did you try to cover it up rather than admit what you had done wrong when you were caught?

 
Honestly as I stated earlier, I can't really recall the circumstances of the situation, 6 months have passed and I've had finals, and other ''life'' stuff to take care of. I don't remember quite entirely what happened other than that I stole a helicopter with my friend and an admin confronted me about it, in which we had a discussion of some sort.

I assume I did it because I needed a helicopter to go around with my friend or something like that, why I tried to cover up, no idea tbh.

Again I am sincerely sorry for what I did, and I hope I receive another chance on this great community.

Why do you believe this? What difference is there between you and anyone else who breaks any one of our rules?

Explain in your own words why you think all of our bans are permanent until appealed and why we don't lax the rules on one person and not the rest due to "who they are" or otherwise.

 
At the time that I created my appeal, I did not realize how severe what I did was, I have now realized after this lenghty appeal and time to think the whole ban through.

I think all bans are permanent until appealed because people need a thread to be able to prove that they are ready for an unban mentally, and even defend their case.

^ In answer to this, I am not quite sure. Maybe it is because that all players are treated fairly and with same punishment and enforcement to ensure that no one is treated differently cause of their ''role''? That no one are exceptions to the rules and can have admins be more lenient? At least that's what I think.

You know what you did wrong, you learned fromt his, so make sure we dont see you in this section anymore.
