I do not have an idea as to why I was banned, the only reason that I can think of is that I gave Ciaran a "Channel Admin" tag in a channel that I was a channel admin, and a gang co-leader. This was in the Altis Life Repo rooms, of which in-game I am a T3 member. I apologize if I am not allowed to do these actions.

Why should we unban you.
I believe you should unban me, as the only tag that I gave was a "Channel Admin" tag to someone in my channel that I am an Channel Admin, as a gang-co leader, And i don't see this as a violation of any rules.

Gang leaders permissions are setup by Mentors using the header channel, I just don't understand what justified making him a Channel Admin if he's not a leader of the gang....

Care to explain why you did it?

 
In Altis Repo its not only the Gang Leader that we allow to have channel admin, any co-leaders or T3 members in-game we allow to have the channel admin in-case they want to make any changes to the name of channels, or the description. As far as I'm aware, it was allowed for multiple people to have channel admin even if they were not the leader of the gang. If that is not the case I apologize for giving him the channel admin tag.

Most staff teams look at channel admins as contact points as we see them as "gang leaders".......

This just makes things confusing....

We may add "Gang Mods" etc, but I've not seen any suggestions for this.

In Altis Repo, we have what we call a "Board" which are T3 members. Anyone person in the "board" is equal including the gang leader. Any board member therefore gets Channel admin. I do agree that this could become confusing, and I do support the idea of "Gang Mods", as this could simplify this entire thing. I'm sorry for any issues that I may have caused.

Ciaran advised me that yourself and Bread were mucking around by giving him a tag and then bread removing it.

That is why you are banned, I will not stand for any abuse of given rights on this server and due to Ciaran's message advising you was mucking around i believe you are lying to us here with this excuse.

I can assure you that I was not mucking around when I game him that tag, I had my reason that I have stated here. I have been with this community for over an year, I know what happens when you lie about something to try to get something to happen. I would never lie, I am against lying and I am very against any abuse of powers in any position, because you are being trusted with that power and if you abuse it that reflects directly on who you are. The following is exactly what happened (To the best of my memory, this was a week ago and several things have  happened.)

I was playing ALUK as a civilian with several other Altis Repo members. At this time noticed that Ciaran did not have his tags and then asked Ciaran why he did not have his developer/admin tag on teamspeak. Ciaran then gave little to no reply to his question which I then assumed he had been removed and tried to cheer him up by giving him a channel admin tag. I personally see no issue with giving him a tag as he is a T3 gang member and a board member.


I'am truly sorry if this was seen as mucking around, or abusing my powers in any way. As I have stated, I am 100% against abusing your powers in any way.

Teamspeak ban removed

Its best to take no action a tall when you are unaware whats going on or pressured by others, I am not going to settle for "i did it to cheer him up" but i am willing to let this pass.
