In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was driving along the road and I saw 2 guys picklocking a car off the side of the road. I pulled over and to try and save the person's car (whoevers it was) I told the 2 thieves to stop picklocking the car or I would shoot them (I was in direction communication so they would have heard me for sure, they even looked towards me) They didn't respond or react to what I was saying and they continued to picklock the car so I shot and killed both of them. What I didn't realise is that one of the players was a medic who was for some reason crouching next to the car being picklocked. I was then told to join the TS server but when I joined nobody messaged me or moved me when I joined the teamspeak so I kept on playing. When I tried to login this morning I got the message (Kicked: killing medic).

Why should we unban you ?
I feel really bad that I broke a rule, especially since it was entirely accidental. I was not aware that the player was a medic (I take full responsibility though) and I should have been more careful when shooting at people. I have been playing the server a lot for the last couple of days and had been in no previous trouble with the admins, just enjoying the RP and the fun community that the server has. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal.

I don't understand how you could possibly mistake a medic for a civilian, they have a very distinctive uniform that helps to prevent this sort of thing from happening...

If you were un-banned, in order to prevent this from happening in the future, what would you do to ensure you don't kill medics by mistake again?

It was very dark in the server (not completely dark though) and I had only been playing for a couple of days so I had not fully memorised the medic uniforms, therefore I failed to recognise the player's uniform from the distance I was at (~20m). It was truly an honest mistake and I should have been more careful. I apologised to the medic when I next saw him (OOC).

If I am unbanned I will take extra precautions when threatening to shoot, and evalute the situation much more thoroughly before ever shooting. I can assure you that if I am unbanned, I won't make the same mistake again, or any other mistakes with the server rules. In hindsight, I perhaps should have called the police to the scene before I shot at the people who appeared to be stealing the vehicle (Although the police often have lengthy response times due to being busy already, or scarce). I have also reread all of the server rules.

Sorry I was being stupid. I honestly remember it being dark in my head. I guess I wasn't paying attention to the time of day, but I was still far away from killing the two people. I guess I didn't help that he was amongst the leaves/shrubbery. Sorry for the misreport.
