It was stated on the report that I made against another member of the community, that me and a fellow gang member was accused of metagaming. https://www.roleplay.co.uk/topic/93519-report-a-player-jack-pritchard-kenny-baker-other-action-taken/
Tiktak had said that me and Gunny had clearly metagamed, therefor the reason for my banning would be:
(3.5) You must hot-mic all communications that have been made over teamspeak when they are relevant to influencing the course of roleplay. This means that if you are communicating to fellow team members via Teamspeak and you are in audio proximity range of another player (they can hear you), you must hot mic any commands given so the rival player can overhear. This rule does not apply if both sides are engaged in a gunfight together.
(4.2) Name Tags - You are not allowed to identify players in game via nametags or keychains. Police, NHS and UNMC ranks (only ranks!) are fine, as they “wear clothing with the rank on” unless they are undercover. (Not in their uniform or masked.) (Punishment is a kick/ban)
Why should we unban you ?
In all honesty the only reason that I put the post up was due to the fact it was quite obvious that the guys in question where on the server to troll and to also ruin peoples fun. What seems to be the case is that we broke rules, however as Tiktak stated ' It is clearly that you used the persons name tag to decide what to do with him and you did not hot mic the planing.' But if you listen over to the video that I have put up as evidence to the forum ban, there was no metagaming towards anyone's nametag. The guy who ran over (Kenny) gave us enough information for us to assume he was his friend:
1. He firstly came running over to us and asked "How do you drag people" 3:17
2. He then said after a couple of seconds "I can't drag him" 3:33
3. He then gave us a little tip off that he knew him "Yeah, he does that sometimes" 3:45
4. He then finally said "He's a nice guy though, he's chill"
Common sense would tell me that this guy is his friend, due to the points that I have raised up above without me and my friend ([TCK] Gunny) even talking about it in game or out of game, it was quite obvious that this guy was here to help the gentleman who was down. Therefore I don't agree with the ban of 4.2 as no metagaming was used in this context as to whether to restrain this guy due to the floating gang name above him, furthermore there is also no evidence in the video that I provided against us metagaming his name, we only realised who he was and what his intentions where though roleplay alone!
However the 3.5 report is another issue. This I completely agree on! As you can see in the video that I provided on the forum ban post, I wasn't in communications with Gunny at the time, so he didn't know what my intentions was to do with this guy and I didn't know his, my microphone and headphones were muted. When I jumped back into the TS I was questioned by Gunny "do you have zipties" to which I replied "Yes" - This is where I feel me and Gunny have done wrong. We did not hotmic this scenario which could have changed the play in the game. However As I stated in my forum ban post, I was not aware of the situation at hand and didn't realise Gunny was asking for this scenario, otherwise I would have done the correct thing, I have never broke rules on this server and never intended to. On the other hand, I do agree with TikTak, he was right to remove us from the community and give us the warning that he has, I'm not going to lie its given me a shake up and made me realise how easy it is to be removed from such a great community, therefore I would like to say that I will ensure greatly that I will not break any rules again, I have recently read over the rules again just to refresh my knowledge and ensure nothing was change. I would also like to apologise for what I did and I can ensure that this will not happen again.
