Hello, I was banned on TS today. I can only presume that this was because of my TS user name "Talib Tony" which whilst as a student named Antony I do not find this offensive, I am more than happy to change this to regain access to Teamspeak

Why should we unban you.
I am a new player and did not realise that my TS name was offensive and I did not fully understand the rules in place. I enjoy the server and community and hope to be able to rejoin the teamspeak server.

Received permission from @WhoisDan to comment on this ban appeal as I was the one that banned him.

I banned you because you had your username as "Taliban Tony", received a few PM's from a community member that they found your username offensive so I issued a ban. The Taliban is a terrorist group that have killed many people, why do you think this is an acceptable name to have?

No problem, from my point of view you have seemed to have learned your lesson. IF you are unbanned I suggest you pick a username that won't offend any other community members and go through the rules again: http://www.altislife.co.uk/rules/

However only Staff/Management can decide the outcomes to unban appeals, so it will be up to them.

Yep I agree that it wasn't well thought through WhoisDan, and apologies once again.  I can only claim to have lived and learned on this one and hope to prove that it was a one time mistake
