https://www.roleplay.co.uk/topic/102068-report-a-player-roger-moore-poorlow-quality-rp-action-taken/?tab=comments#comment-582588 this was a post i made about a guy who was trying to RDM me while i was on my way to gun shop, i didn't try to sugar coat the situation. i was 100% honest and even said in my report of the other gentlemen i said that i was sorry for running over and i wasn't thinking because he just started opening fire at me and i got pissed off and ran him over twice which i admit and i was being honest.

Why should we unban you ?
i've been playing on the server for 2 years on and off, this is the first time i've been banned and for me to get banned for my own report of a new guy who was RDMing and didn't generally care about the server rules. i felt that my punishment was a bit excessive and didn't take into account my long history on the server and my dedication to its well being. i finally came back to the server to rejoin police and enjoy the community as i did many months ago, then i got into the situation with the gentlemen in my report and i got banned along side him because i was 100% honest in my report and i was pissed off in the situation. the main deference between the gentlemen i report and me is that, i care about the server and the community and the gentlemen has no regard of the server or the community and the gentlemen didn't even have a forum account.

Time spent and dedication to the server does not give players a green light to break rules or assume they are better than someone who's new.  The rules apply to everyone in equal measures, and when broken, action is taken. This can be seen by the number of high ranking, long serving whitelisted faction players who've been banned in the past. 

You're also not given a green light to break rules just because someone else has. This makes you just as bad as them. 

What concerns me most about your appeal is that you genuinely feel  you should be above the law and that somehow because of your time here and you've been honest, you should have been let off. Whilst your honesty is admirable it doesn't count when it comes to blatantly breaking the rules.  

I was tempted to deny your appeal and give you some time to reflect on this however, I'll give you the opportunity to do that now. Reflect on your attitude and when you're ready, explain to me if you still think your ban was unjust or excessive. 

 
Yh it sounded arrogant, i'll think about this with a clear head.

@CSI LONG BEARD My punishment was just and fair since i did break server rules all i ask is a unban due to the fact this is my first ban on the server and i apologises for my arrogant and cocky unban appeal. further more from this point on i will refrain from breaking any server rules.

Fair enough.

As you've found out to your cost, this is a community based on strict rules. Disregarding them has consequences, and once banned, that ban stays on your record permanently. When deciding on whether someone deserves another chance, we look to see what previous bans or warnings they may have and we take this heavily into consideration. In other words, if you find yourself back here putting in an unban appeal in the future you'll find it much harder to get unbanned.
