In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I genuinely am not 100% sure as it was such a long time ago but i would imagine it had a lot to do with poor judgement and unfortunate circumstances.

Why should we unban you ?
I'm a matured and reformed individual who adheres to all rules put in place by the powers that be. A minor lapse in distinguished consciousness must have caused the temporary loss of motor control which resulted in the loss of life. I can only apologize that it happened at all and hope that you allow me the chance to redeem myself with good deeds and in depth roleplay in game and allow me to be part of your ever growing community of loyal and respectable players.

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).
This rule is not applicable in the red zone.

RDM and RAV (random acts of violence) are usually perpetrated by individuals, groups and squads with malicious intent. In the most basic form applied to your arma 3 server it is when a player engages in combat with others without foresight and respect for both the server, it's player base and the rules put in place to help create a fair, balanced and playable environment. It is when, as your rules state; a played engages without any form of quality roleplay. I.e sitting on a hill 2km away and shooting people at a checkpoint or town.

It can be anything from jumping out of a car and immediately killing someone without saying anything to little at all, to making a road block with your car on a stretch of road and shooting anyone that drives down it. 

There must be a back story, in depth roleplay and a valid reason before you can constitute killing someone and only when that falls within the rule set. There must be warnings and plenty of time to comply with commands. The use of commands that your assailant must follow must also not cause them to break the rules set on the server. IE; "take this gun and go kill that cop stood outside the bank/fed reserve without saying anything and come back and drop the gun in the car or i'll kill your other two friends here", another example would be to force someone to engage in hate speech (broad spectrum) towards another individual('s) at the cost of ones life and then killing them when they fail to comply to either scenario.

There are those, much like myself who get caught up in the moment with adrenaline and forget what it means to have a consciousness within a virtual reality world. Each person has their own back story, their own character they portray and the rules on the server, especially including this one (2.2) create an environment that respects that to the utmost. 

Believe me when i say i am remorseful of my actions and i would appreciate the opportunity to redeem myself, not just in the eyes of yourselves, the player base and the server as a whole but also in the eyes of my friends who were disappointed in my actions for being a knucklehead and for denying them all the opportunity to play on a server we all love, together.
