I and my friend was banned for apparent RDM/Low quality RP. I can see why I was banned from the footage which was given, but I strongly believe that I made an honest mistake in that moment of time. I realise what was wrong about what I had done (e.g. counting down from 3 etc..).

Why should we unban you ?
I think you should unban me because I am quite "NEW" to altis life, as I have recently got my computer fixed and have started to get back in arma, so I am still learning different role play techniques all of the time. The part at which I was wrong with this initiation was the countdown from 3, this was a part of role play I had not learned yet, and now I see that it is not the correct thing to do, and therefore I promise not to role play in such way again on roleplay.co.uk... thanks.

When the rules are quite specific as to that being disallowed, how can you blame being "new"? I appreciate that there is often room for interpretation but in this case it is rather blantant.

Quote me the rule that you broke and explain it in your own words so that i am confident that you won't do the same again in the future.

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM.

-> RDM (Random Deathmatch) is when you fail to initiate on another player before shooting.

(3.1) Roleplay Everything - You must stay in character at all times. Please ensure you’re not on side-chat.

-> Fail Roleplay is when you do not try to engage in role play before interaction, or the role play is poor. (e.g. counting down)

I have gone through the rules very thoroughly and I have a good understanding of what i done was wrong.

This sentence is not correct. How do you engage in roleplay before interaction? 

 
Im a friend of Styl's he is unable to reply due to his account being unable to log in, would it be ok if i post for him? or give him some more time to sort it out/get a new account

 
@StyL @Atek he can continue this on a new appeal once he has sorted his original account out.

If there is no response from him then this dispute will time out in 24 hours.

 
If he makes a new account and then replies here will that be ok??

 
Sorry for the late response, but my account is not working for some reason, so I had to create a new one before the appeal timed out, I'm going to assume your asking me about the Fail Role-play Rule.
Fail RP is when the quality of Role-play you provide is very bad/doesn't follow the rules for example counting down, shooting someone without giving them time to comply, saying someone's name when u haven't asked for it etc.
