i was playing fine yesterday, nothing done wrong as far as i know. go to log in today and i get the dialog: banned, contact admin.... etc. no reason, also, web address given on ban dialog was: www.altislife.co.uk:killinonspawnisland/khandamir. that doesnt work??? really confused and frustrated that i cant play! please help

Now I am not a mean guy, so I will forgive you for messaging me. But no, I am not going to look at the appeal now. While I understand you are eager to play again, unban appeals are the lowest priority. I will explain some things to you, that you can use in your appeal:

In the appeal it says you had killed on spawn island. I did ban 2 people last few days for that. When you log into the game, you are in a spawn zone. You are unable to see anything, and any weapon in your hand has to be reloaded. Whilst in that black screen, you must have used R to reload and then started shooting around you. You may not have even noticed there were actual people there, but there were. And a lot of them died, which is why I instantly banned you.

Killing people on spawn island is a serious thing as it can bug people's player database. It also is extremely annoying because if they got killed in the spawn zone, they couldn't see, so they have no way of claiming compensation for the gear they have lost. And it can not be done without a form of intent, since you HAVE to reload first before you can shoot in the spawn zone, since your gun will delete any magazine in it when you log off. So for future reference, if you are in a spawnscreen: WAIT. Do not move, do not crouch, do not press any buttons, just wait until the server gives you the option to pick a spawn location.

Now that you know what happened, I advise you to edit (Don't comment) your original appeal to contain what I just said and then explain your side of it.

As said, they are a low priority, they get dealt with whenever someone feels like doing it (and since it is boring, it could take a day or two) but in the end, you are being punished for breaking the rules, so you're not in any place to ask for this to be dealt with fast. Edit the appeal and then just be patient and wait for it to be dealt with.

Why should we unban you ?

Ok, i know what you are talking about now. I did have a 'starting pistol' but i did not (and have never had) any ammo for it. I loaded into the server, was not touching any buttons waiting to load whilst talking to my housemate, next thing i know there was lots of gunshots and i received the message saying i had died. That is the honest truth on the situation. I never had any ammo for the starter pistol, and i certainly did not reload the gun and fire wildly whilst on a black screen. I have only recently returned to Altis life, and would not do something this stupid. i respect the rules of RP and have played RP games for a long time.

In all, i believe you either have the wrong guy, or if this did happen, it was a glitch that was not caused by me. Im sorry that people died, but it was not by my hand.

Now, try something else than ''Admin has the wrong guy''. We have a ingame tool, we look up a player, click stats ID and go to their page. That is how I found you. I got reports of someone being killed on spawn Island, saw YOUR name as the killed. I then teleported to you, to find you standing in the spawnzone with a pistol, not a starter pistol, in your hand and dead bodies on the ground.

I am trying to find out of the person who got killed can provide me with video evidence, I think I should be able to get it.

I am not above admitting I got the wrong guy, it has happened and sometimes mistakes are made. I am however fairly confident that this is not a mistake. So either two things happen after this. 1) I find out I am wrong and I will apologize and hope you understand my position. Killing on spawn island is a serious matter. Or 2) I find the evidence showing you did do it and your appeal gets denied for being a liar.

Now, you will obviously know what is going to happen, as you know if you did it or not. So, whatever happens next is up to you.

Will you own up to what you did and get a fair second chance, like everyone else who broke the rules and appealed? Or will you take your gamble with me trying to obtain the evidence, risking a denial on your appeal and a permanent ban for lying on your appeal?

Honestly, if i did it i would admit to it and take the slap on the wrist. I 100% did not commit this offence, i don't know how to prove otherwise as i have no evidence. You will not be able to find someone with evidence against me as i haven't done this. If i had genuinely done this then i would obviously not care about playing and wouldn't bother asking to be unbanned. I plan to play on your servers and become a member of the community, why would i throw that chance away by doing something so silly. 

I hope that you find someone that proves i am innocent here.

Thank you for your patience. It seems I owe you a apology. Mistake was made, by backtracking the evidence I found out the ingame system linked me to the wrong statspage.

I am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience given to you. A unban has been issued and a note has been made striking this incident off your record, as it indeed was not you who did this.

Once again sorry, hope you can see where I am coming from. Being staff and finding the insane amount of players who break the rules every day sometimes can get chaotic and confusing. When dealing with time sensitive things such as killers on spawn island (since they can ruin so many people's days with it) sometimes results in very quick action being taken and thus, mistakes can be made.

User unbanned, mistaken identity, incident to be struck from his record entirely.
