Hi, the reason i got banned was completely my fault. I ran someone over purposely and disregarded the consequences, this was a very foolish move.

Why should we unban you ?
I broke this rule a very long time ago and i have just got back into arma 3, this is the only good role playing serer i've played and i would like to make a return to this server once again but this time fully complying with the rules and not being foolish, i am very sorry that i broke the vdm rule and i would really like just one more chance, thank you.

If placed in similar situation again, waht would you do different ?

 
The rule i broke was "vehicle death match", this rule means that you are not permitted at any time to use your vehicle as a weapon or to ram other vehicle. if i was placed in the same situation again i would resolve the situation with strong role play instead of just breaking a simple rule, thank you for your reply.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "strong roleplay"?

 
What i mean is, i would resolve the situation by using high quality role play, i would try to do this to the best of my ability so it is within the rules, and creates more fun for both people, instead of breaking a rule and ruining the fun and getting myself banned.

 
Can you give me an example of a situation where you would be using your "high quality" Roleplay to resolve it?

 
for example if i was robbing someone, i could make a backstory and actually make it interesting instead of running them over or taking the "hands up" approach. i could stretch out the role play to make it fun for me and for the other person also, again i very much regret getting myself banned and i am prepared to come back and follow the rules 100%. Thank you for your reply.

Yep, quote the whole rule and post it in here. Explain it to us aswell.

 
I broke the rule "vehicle death match" this rule means using your vehicle as a weapon inside the green zone and using it ro ram other vehicles outside the green zone aswell.

 
I think you should QUOTE the whole rule and post it in here.
Have a good read of i, and then explain to us why we have this rule.

 
" (2.1) Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban."  - The reason you have this rule is very simple, it prevents people who want to grief other players using any type of vehicle to run over, blow up or damage somebody or their property by enforcinga strict ban to anyone who breaks this rule.

We will give you the benefit of the doubt this time, however if we see you breaking rules in the future, don't expect leniency.
