In your own words, Why do you think you was banned: I was banned because I took shots at a player I had not directly engaged in RolePlay with. I was under the belief that my clan member who I was communicating with on teamspeak has explained to this person that he was being robbed. My other friend was telling me to shoot him if he ran. He did run, so I opened fire, he did not die so I chased him. Then I found WhoisDan camping out the area. The player did NOT die. WhoIsDan had a small conversation with me and told me I was breaking the rules, then banned me with little warning.
I have since discovered I was also banned for VDM. My friends Hemmt Box was nicked by a clan, so my gang an I chased them. We were all under the mis-impression that VDM only counted when we had no good reason to kill them. They were opening fire on us, and lockpicking the Hemmt so my friends and I ran them over to stop them. This was wrong of us, and we will in future avoid breaking the VDM rule. We honestly only thought VDM counted when it was also RDM. We have taken it upon ourselves to read the rules THOROUGHLY and will, if unbanned, never break the rules again.
Please copy and paste the rule you think you broke: Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban)
Using your vehicle for running people over, using it to ram into other vehicles in and outside combat, using a vehicle with the purpose of making it explode are all considered a form of VDM here (Punishment is a ban)
Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance: Because it was a legitimate mistake, and I ALWAYS engage in RP normally. This was an abnormal occurrence, and I have no desire to make the game less enjoyable for others. I have a clan who all abide by the rules and I really enjoy playing with them on your server. I am awfully sorry for what I did, and would really appreciate a second chance. They supposedly asked me to come on TS with them. I did NOT receive this request, or at least did not notice it.
On account of the VDM, we did not read the rules thoroughly enough and have now read them properly so that we will not make the same mistake twice. I realise I have been foolish, and have not taken the server rules as seriously as I should have done. Since playing on an alternate server due to the ban, I realise how important the enforcement of your rules is, as my time on the other server was not as enjoyable as it was here.
Myself and my gang are terribly sorry for what happened, and we love your servers so it would be really unfortunate if these two small mistakes of mine prevented me from playing with your members again. I hope you can find it in your hearts to give a fool like me a second chance. I have read the rules repeatedly since the ban and I now FULLY understand them, so that I shan't make the same mistakes again, or any others in my future on your server.
