In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was driving a car and ran someone over in Kerala. I evaded police because I figured it could count as a role-playing situation, you know, cop chasing a convict. The second I got out of my vehicle when asked to, I was kicked.

Why should we unban you ?
Surely running people over should warrant an in-game punishment (such as prison or a fine) instead of permanently banning me? The ban is comparable to corporal punishment and to do that to someone for a hit and run with no casualties is a bit harsh. I'm new and since being banned I have thoroughly read the rules and I am now enlightened to what it is I was doing wrong.

The note on your name is this  Intentionally VDM'd 2 persons and kept driving/attempting to escape from the police.

I can only assume you were swerving into people to run them over. The way that this community operates is that we we a very strict set of rules. and literally right at the top of that list is VDM;

(2.1) VDM - Vehicle Death Match Definition: Using your vehicle for running people over, using it to ram into other vehicles in and outside combat, or with intent to cause an explosion are all considered VDM here (Punishment is a ban)

Not reading the rules is your responsibility as said in the splash screen when you actually connect to the server.

That said, in your own writing could you describe the VDM rule

I'm not sure if I swerved, but I do remember hitting people and then trying to evade the police. That I can admit.

The VDM rule means that you can not and shall not use your vehicle as a weapon to intentionally attack people - meaning running them over, ramming into their vehicles, or with any other means of criminal intent.
