In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
Having joined the server for the first time and being in the game for +- 10-5 minutes, i parked my car within a safe zone marked on the map as i tried to enter a shop to buy myself a medkit. First thing i see is somebody trying to lockpick my car (within said safe zone). as he tries to lockpick i get in and move it a bit further (still within safezone if i'm correct).
i see the same guy doing it again. i get in again tell him to stop trying to steal my car and call him a faggot (direct chat typed)

Why should we unban you ?
I apologise for having reffered to said person as a "faggot". I understand this word might be offensive to people. But my previous experiences with life servers on arma 2 that most of said persons are mostly children trying to ruin the fun of newcoming people on the server, and i was absolutely not in the mood to be botherd with a bunch of rule breaking children, as i was still trying to understand the basics utilities of your arma 3 life mission.
Sadly in this case said person has decided to Record my inapproriate language and most probably report it towards the adminteam as a sord of revenge attempt for failing said Theft.
Maby i'm wrong and this person is genuinly offended ? Who Knows..... But i honestly would not take the effort as an adult to report every person that calls me a faggot. ( Even in clu, citylife, or any other game i would not bother)
None the less i am aware i broke a rule, and would like to apologise for this.
Next time there will be no insults and only my fraps running to defend my side of (hopefully none) future situations.

So you are talking about all these childish people breaking rules and you thought it would be perfectly acceptable to stoop down a level and call them such a word?

it was uncalled for and i realise that now.

How would you go about resolving that situation rather than insulting people?

Inform an admin about the vehicle attempted theft within the green zone (if i understood the rules correctly this is not allowed?)
Inform the person at hand he is breaking server rules, worst case scenario i let him steal it and fraps the whole thing and make a report.
after all its only a car. But my respons at that time was a bit over the top and that wont happen again.
