Reason given for your ban.
2.5

The Server you initially were banned on.
Server 1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
Combat logging. Logging out while bleeding out.

Why should we unban you ?
The reason I logged out while bleeding out was partly becuase I had the teargas effect and it was giving me a headache to look at it and partly because I was incredibly annoyed with the situation that lead to it. I had ample opportunity to simply close the game out of annoyance while the situation was going down but didn't do that as it would be what I see as combat logging.
I was not trying to evade roleplaying and there was only about 10 minutes left til server restart so any arrest would've not lead anywhere.
Because of the reasons for me logging out I do not believe it constitutes combat logging to a severe enough degree that I should remain banned as it wasn't done with malicious intent.

Do you have anything to say on this?

I think what I said pretty much speaks for itself, as that's what happened. As I wrote in the previous appeal that I had to rewrite, the police Taru kept hovering directly above me as soon as any cop tried coming up to me which caused me to not hear anything. It made me extremely irritated. I restrained myself in what I responded, so "screw you guys" doesn't exactly seem severe to me. If you had been in the same situation, you would've probably reacted the same way.

That said, if whoever I said that to actually got offended, I'm sorry.

A lot can happen in 10 minutes, just because you don't think much can happen doesn't give you the right to just log out.  You never know what RP they could've wanted to give.  Have you considered how frustrating this can be to the other party as well?

Ofcourse I'm aware that it might've denied someone the opportunity to get some nice roleplay in, but I will counter your question with this.

Given how irritated I was at the time, do you really think the person would have had a nice roleplaying experience with me? I couldn't see anything due to the teargas effect which was doing my head in, I was still annoyed by the way I was engaged and to then have most likely multiple people run up to me and trying to talk would not have lead to me being very pleasent, albeit still in character, to that person/those people.

Considering I had ample opportunity to disconnect throughout that engagement if my intent was to actually deny rp, resist arrest or simply be a dick, I won't be able to see how there's such a big deal made about the way I left. I understand that you include bleedout disconnects in the 2.5 subsection because alot of people have probably abused it in the past, but that's not the case here. I know myself, and it was better for me to go off at that point than to be nasty to whoever came up to me.

I don't have anything further to say about why I logged out, do with the information what you will.

"Given how irritated I was at the time, do you really think the person would have had a nice roleplaying experience with me?"
" I know myself, and it was better for me to go off at that point than to be nasty to whoever came up to me."

In this game, in Altis Life, on this server, everyone encounters situations that don't go their way, or somehow feel they've been wronged. There's a lot of hostility due to the cops and robber nature of the game and we all get irritated and frustrated from time to time.

If you're going to get irritated each time you find yourself in this kind of situation, and deny or give poor RP, what's the point in letting you back?

You say, "I know myself" which leads me to believe you perhaps have some anger management issues, and I've concerns that the next time you feel you've been wronged, the red mist will ascend again. It's our job as staff to protect the community from this kind of behavior. So the question remains, how can we be sure we won't be back here in the future with either a repeat offence, or some nasty comments to someone who's managed to get one over on you?

Anger management issues? I managed my irritation by leaving, which is literally the opposite. I don't get angry easily, but the situation that happened made me irritated because I felt like it was extremely poor RP / borderline nonexistent RP.

In roughly a week of being on the server, where I've been RDM'd quite often while trying to RP, it's the first time I've actually gotten really annoyed at someone / some people. Does that really sound like anger management issues to you? I mean, for a community that has so many rules in place to make sure people are not offended or made to feel bad, you're going to come out and assign a trait to someone you don't know because you misunderstood something they wrote?

And again, my intention was not to deny anyone RP, I simply wanted to get off rather than being a dick to someone. If you truly believe that I'm going to be logging off while bleeding out every time I die, then by all means don't let me back on. But seeing as people who RDM and act extremely poorly get another chance, you might want to consider that what I did wasn't done to intentionally spite anyone, it was because of how I was feeling.

I honestly don't feel like going back and forth in this appeal anymore. If you want an actual conversation, ask me to come on TS or drag me if you already see me on. Because right now, you're only turning whatever I say to explain the situation and what happened to me against me.

Nope, that's not how appeals work.

Fair enough. Come back when you do feel like it.

Appeal Denied.
