In your own words, Why do you think you was banned: Because we managed to hold up and steal the helicopter from someone who is friends with an admin. I feel this is unfair as we did not break any rules and did enough Role Play to make the situation realistic. I feel because this person knew an admin we were banned as soon as it happened, this is very unfair. I am new to the server have read the rules and have been enjoying a great community... until now.
Please copy and paste the rule you think you broke: I have asked on Teamspeak the reason given and it was : Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).
Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance: We are trying to play like bandits/rebels but we are following the rules. We have spoken to all people we have held up, we feel this time because the person knew an admin or even was an admin it was them being angry which made them just ban us. We were shouting at the chopper to land and we wouldnt shoot. He didnt respond, my friend shot at the chopper and told him to land, which he did, the pilot of the chopper then jumped out, drew his rifle and started shooting at my friend. I shouted for him to stop or I would shoot, he ignored me so I shot him. My friend then escaped in a helicopter but was immediately kicked and banned as was I. We only started playing yesterday and have been loving it, we are not children and really do feel like we engaged in enough RP to make the situation realistic, when he drew his rilfe without saying a word then shooting, 100% in real life situation you are going to shoot back.

Spoken to the Medic from earlier he is not happy with us shooting at him, I explained the situation in my reply to his post. I feel I have put what I need to say on this request too.

I must admit it would be really disappointing if I wasn't given a second chance on this server, I have thoroughly enjoyed it even though I have only been playing less than 24 hours.

Moving from Epoch and Overpoch servers does take a lot of adjustment, but this is what I am looking for and this warning has taught me a lesson, I have taken it all on board.

 
I had reports that people had been RDMing people at the airfield and I was on as a civ so I decided to land and go onto admin duty so that I could see what was going on, to do this I was required to land and store my helicopter. When I landed my hellcat I was open fired at without any RP initiation by both you and a friend who were located near the air servicing. On top of this I was also not armed with a rifle and I did not take any shots at you.

The reports then were wrong, only one person was shot and this was someone armed with a rifle. You would see from any server logs that neither of us shot anyone from logging on. I did not shoot at anyone with a Hellcat, the RP situation was with someone in a littlebird Helicopter, he was the one with a rifle shooting, he is the one I told to stop and shot. I then ran towards the main road to the north and out of the area, while I was running I was kicked.

I understand it may have been a team member of your AR that I shot but if you ask him and if he is honest he will tell you I was around the corner shouting while he was shooting at my friend as he turned towards me with his gun I shot and killed him. I understand him being upset but it was within the rules. I had no intention of doing anything at the airfield, my friend was trying to hold someone up for their chopper and I got involved when a fully geared guy with a rifle got out of the heli. Backing my team mate up as you would do with yours.

I do totally see your point in being shot at with no RP, and I did warn my friend about doing this, I did my best with the littlebird pilot to make it more of a realistic scenario, I am not sure what happened when I left the airfield this was right after I had shot the littlebird pilot, but if I was there I would have been much more RP involved. Sorry about my friend in this case.

 
I have made sure to highlight the rules to all members of my team, I myself have been over them again. There are a lot of them :)  but we have been through them thats for sure!

 
From starting on the server only a few days ago I have recorded all footage, since yesterday I have been able to go over it and seen the events clearly. We had just been stopped by the police on the road next to the airfield, the police took our friend to prison and impounded the car. We then run to get guns from the handgun store nearby. On returning to the airfield we see a Littlebird helicopter. Littlepip, who is part of my tream shouts for him to land, the heli flies away. We then get to the service hangars, where I am trying to see how to buy helis. I then hear the heli and my friend ordering him to land (he roleplays a bandit). The heli comes in to land but the guy jumps out and draws a rifle, looks like some sand cammo rifle. Littlepip then jumps in a blue hatchback and then drive around while being shot at by the heli pilot. I have moved to the back of the hangars, as he comes towards me with gun drawn I shout "stop" and he aims at me, I shoot. Littlepip then takes his gun which is on the ground. I then run towards the road where we were stopped by police and my footage ends at being kicked by Gary Knife. I have been over and over the rules and I really do feel like I gave enough RP, a lot more than the heli pilot to be fair who was about to kill us both without saying a word. I just hope you can understand the situation and see it from my point this is all I saw and was involved in, we are noobs on the server and yes we have made some mistakes, but wow we have learnt from them, the ban has made us realise even more that this is a community we want to be a part of, we want it policing the way it is and we understand it was better to ban us and find out what happened than let anyone carry on with possible RDMs. We are all older guys and we do want to help in the community, we have started out making noobs mistakes and we do feel like we can make this better if allowed to play again, and show we can provide positives to the community.

 
I'm going to first off start by saying sorry for posting here but I believe it's for the better. 

n00ms, keeping on posting and 'bumping' your post isn't going to help your case. The admins will only add a longer time until it is reviewed if you carry on posting. You don't want to end up with more days than necessary.

I would also need more details about the so called "admin friends", can you send me a message explaining in detail?

Hello, regarding the ban I will admit it was a mistake on my behalf. I believed that you were with your friend at the time of the RDM but upon reviewing my footage I was wrong. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Enjoy your time on the server!
