In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I did not give the victim enough time to respond to the actions I was giving him and acted too quickly by killing him. Also the way that I engaged with him was a very poor example of roleplay, not what the server wants from players.

Why should we unban you ?
I am deeply sorry for the victim of the RDM and I assure that it will not be happening again. After the incident I greatly stepped up the roleplay experience from simply stating muffled comands before shooting someone and I have done and will continue to develop interesting RP into all of my actions on the server, whether it is when robbing someone, selling drugs or simply talking to friendly players. I believe that before this incident I was very keen to shoot them before they could shoot me but I hope that if I am unbanned that I will assume that the other person I am engaging will not shoot me, a mindset which was told to me by the victim of this RDM. I believe that I will play by this motto for any other RP situations and only engage when it becomes neccessary. Ordinarily I would not play like this and upon doing so I have realised how terrible it becomes for the victim as to quote him 'spoiled his evening' which I am deeply sorry for. I now strive to achieve the best roleplay possible if my ban is lifted so that I can return to the server as a better roleplayer.

It would mean a huge amount if the ban was lifted. I know what I have done is completely against what the server stands for and I have been playing long enough to know the rules. I broke those rules and know I am upset because I cannot play on my favourite game. So I have learned my lesson and I hope to never brake a rule again. I love the server and would hate to lose it, escpecially because of the exciting Tanoa life coming soon, so I really am sorry for the rules which were broken and they will not happen again.

If in the same situation again what would you do differently?

In the same situation, I would make myself fully known to the other person before hand, in perhaps a friendly manner so that they are aware that other people are around. I would then likely not rob them, but develop a more interesting role play scenario and ask for a percentage cut of their purchase as the store is 'under my control' so to speak. If the victim did not oblige then instead of giving the command of put your hands up or something like that, I would talk it out with him and make it clear that he will not be leaving the area until he has paid his price, or else he will be shot(making clear the consequences). If he continues to resist the demands then I would go with what I told him and take action, if he is armed. If he does comply then I am in richer and we have successfully developed, perhaps not an interesting, but certainly better rp experience than me effectively RDMing him.

That is the sort of thing I strive to do differently on the server from now on, to benefit my own experience and also that of other players.
