Rule 13 - Advertising

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
While at the Diamond Mine I met some people and we decided to team up together in order to make the diamond runs safer in general to lower the chances of being robbed. During this I posted a discord link to the people I met 3 times in direct chat, and so I was banned for this.
Why should we unban you ?
I completely understand that people use the servers popularity to gain members etc. but I had no intention of personal gain - this was only done for the sole purpose of making the diamond run a lot easier by not having constant communication issues/delays while driving separate HEMMTs, and group chat wasn't an option at the time due to people already having their own group/organisation. Furthermore, In my opinion while I do understand this is advertising, I don't think this classifies as full on advertising, as the intention was only to provide a voice communications link to my new ingame companions in a low population area via direct communication, as opposed to large scale advertising such as spamming a server link in OOC for up to 160 people to see.
The only reason this was done three times is because one of the people couldn't successfully join, and when they said they were having troubles the chat had already scrolled up so they could not see the link anymore - hence why I put the link three times (since they had issues the second time as well). This was by no means an attempt to distribute the link to more people, but only to get my new friends into a voice communication together.
Overall, I am still sorry for breaking this rule and I understand why I have been banned but In my opinion this is more of a misunderstanding - I meant no harm to the community and wanted no personal gain from this, as this was merely an attempt to make communications easier and make it easier to talk to friends who I don't have on steam. If I am unbanned I can assure you that there will no more breaking of this rule, and if I ever need to provide a link or something for anything, I would get a staff members approval to make sure it won't potentially damage the server.
Thank you for your time, and ultimately I completely understand if you choose to keep me banned, as I did still break a rule despite the severity of it.
