In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was at the UNMC check point during which time there was a hostage return going down with the police. The police dropped our guys off in a car 2km in the air and they were drifting out to sea. Arragent bread was the office at the check point talking to us. after he delivered the message that our guys had been returned, he drove off about 250m and was watching. a UNMC member didn't like him hanging around and fired a warning shot. Arragent bread then came up to the check point and demanded who had shot towards him, some words where said and Arragent bread tazed a member of UNMC, it was here that someone on comms said kill him and i opened fire resulting him the office dieing. I was then BANNDED a few moments later

Why should we unban you ?
I'v made lots of mistakes but i dont think this is one of them. i followed orders and the officer had a tazed a team member. it may have been bad RP but the order was sharp and direct so i followed it. Im a new member to the UNMC and just finding my feet. I found a group that looks like its going to really be fun to be in and i'd very much like to stay part of it.

I have spoken with @ArrogantBreadafter the incident and agreed I would handle this appeal as soon as the 24 hours had passed (and I was no longer sleeping.)

You say you followed orders, yet I have not heard anyone saying they gave the order to shoot then and there. Now, I can understand your reaction, being a new recruit in the UNMC and wanting to prove yourself. In a lot of other, different scenario's your reaction would probably have been the right one. However, considering the circumstances in play when this happened, the decision was made this was a case of RDM.

Allow me to explain, because I think it is important that you understand that even tho tazing someone is usually a hostile act, it is always the circumstances that decide what is and isn't hostile.

In the scenario we are discussing, a police officer is sitting a good 200-300 meters away from the UNMC checkpoint in a jeep. The cop receives a shot which appears to hit his vehicle. The cop proceeds to drive toward the checkpoint to demand an explanation. No gunfight or serious hostilities were ongoing, so asking for this explanation made sense and allowed for a RP interaction between the cops and the UNMC at the border.

When arriving at the border, the cop asks who shot him. The soldier at the gate says the shooter will soon be there. Moments later a private arrives and admits to having shot at the car. ''I shot at you because I fucking did'' were the literal words of the Private in question. Within 2 seconds after the Private saying this, the cop pulls out his tazer and tazes her. He did not issue compliance, nor did he make any attempt to arrest, detain or remove weaponry. It was a simple response to the soldier admitting to having shot him.

The cop then holsters his weapon and proceeds to walk back to his car. A full 2 to 3 seconds later, he is then killed without a word said by anyone. The UNMC soldier standing closest to the cop and the private when it happened, made no intention whatsoever to draw a weapon. No one issued compliance, no one told the cop to stop.

Therefore, in line with our rule:

this is classed as RDM. We expect people to use restrain when it comes to killing someone. It is a drastic thing to do and considering the circumstances, uncalled for. If the cop would have been knocked out, had his tires shot out to prevent him from leaving so he could then be bollocked for tazing the private, that would have been appropriate in the circumstances. But to shoot him dead in cold blood, without even interacting, without any form of interesting roleplay leading to the shooting, that is something we frown upon.

To conclude:

If there indeed were orders given to shoot, I would like to know who gave those orders as that person needs talking to as well.

Regarding this appeal: As I discussed with Arrogant Bread, there is no objection against granting the appeal and unbanning you, as long as we know you understand the staff point of view on the situation and understand why we class this as RDM. If you promise that, in future situations of a similar extent, to not instantly shoot but to either look for alternative options or wait for clear cut orders from someone in a higher rank, we can proceed to unbanning you.

Well firstly thank you for dealing with this matter, i do understand it from this point of view. Not knowing the voices to well and not having my playtv going at the time i'm unsure who said or the words used word for word but it was a female voice and something along the lines of "shoot that fuck" maybe.

I do try to have playtv going all the time but i'm having issue with my pc and its bugging it out. 

I whole hearty would like to apologies to Arrogant bread then for my actions as now its been explained i do see where i went wrong. i'll try my best to keep within the rules and i know i find myself on this part of the forum way to much.

As said, me and ArrogantBread have discussed this and feel you have been punished enough for what happened and feel you understand what you did wrong. The matter of the given order will be directed to UNMC command so they can talk to who ever gave that order to also explain it was uncalled for. We all need to know when to use restraint, and this was a situation in which should restraint should be used.

Unbanned, please be very careful going forward, if we see you back here again you will only be able to do a permanent appeal after 6 months.
