For pasting an Adventure Time fanfiction into Police Public. Which contained content of a sexual nature.

Why should we unban you ?
I had known that sending items such as pornographic images into Discord was not allowed, however it did not connect with me that the same would apply for "literature". Which is something I know realise.
Although the Police has an age limit, members of any age can see police public, which makes what I did quite a bit worse.

I was looking through the Drive for my old google account, and came across a text document containing it, from about 4 years ago. I was on AR patrol, and a few of us were using Discord at that time, so I used Discord as a means of sending it to them, as I could not send it from my phone to TS. In future I will either forward it to TS, where only people who want to see it can, or better, not send it at all.




I would like to be unbanned as I use the Discord quite alot throughout the day, specifically for spec unit and command channels, where there are discussions on current issues or ideas within. Discord is an excellent platform to do this, and I would like to be able to check on it without relying on asking others on TS.

So some clarification for anyone reading this going forward:

Whilst we don't really have many rules for Discord ourselves bar the standard community rules, we are still held to Discords Terms of Service as is everyone else when you agreed to it on the creation of your Discord Account.   The Discord server itself isn't ours, the same as any other, and all Discord servers are held to the TOS that Discord decides to enforce, breaching this TOS is grounds for Discord themselves to come along and terminate your account completely.

As a Server, we are expected to adhere to the TOS that Discord sets out and take action on anything that occurs on our server that breaches this TOS otherwise we end up in a situation where either we get the Partnership revoked, or the Discord team just kill "our" server entirely.   Some of the TOS terms are what some may call silly (I.e. Posting NSFW content in a non-NSFW marked channel) but overall I can see why they include in their own Terms (seeing as you only have to be 13 to make an account its to protect themselves against being sued by angry parents).   
Even if something NSFW was posted in a closed channel, that we had physically verified everyone involved was 18+ but we didn't specifically mark it as NSFW in the channel settings, Discord would still enforce the "NSFW Content in non-NSFW channel" rule for example.

In short - Discords TOS also governs "our" discord server as well as the community rules.

In any case @MacDonald - I've removed the ban on your account and you can rejoin via https://discordapp.com/invite/roleplay .   You will need to get the relevant people to request your tags again, however.
