In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned because I RDM'd a player. I was with my friends at a petrol station when a person tried to steal a helicopter, after this he was downed when he got out. I then finished him off without role playing the situation properly.

Why should we unban you ?
I should unban me because I have read the Rules and have had time to think about what I have done and what I can do to not make the same mistakes again.

Why did you not bother roleplay with the guy before you shot him ? 

And can you write up a roleplay story on how you will execute a guy that is laying on the ground wounded

 
First, if I see a person on the ground I realise that if i am going to kill them, I should first role play by asking if there are any things he wants to say before he dies and perhaps give me a reason i shouldn't kill him for an example.

when the person was on the floor i should have questioned them about why they got in to the helli in the first place. When he answered, I should have taken what he had said into consideration before making my decision on weather to kill him or not.

 
Lets go the rulespage, And quote me the rule you broke. Then explain me this rule in your own words.

 
Of course, the rule i broke was (3.1) You must remain in character at all times, unless a uniformed Admin authorises you to speak out of character. Roleplay everything.

This means that in no circumstances I should not be roleplaying at any time, On top of that I should roleplay to a good standard as to create immersion for me and players around. 

 
Sorry, my bad its been a while. After looking a second time, I have found and remembered that it was actually  (7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together. that i was banned for.

my interpretation of this rule is that you should always follow the rules that have been set whilst at the same time keeping in mind the character you have created for yourself and role playing to the best of your ability as to not ruining your or other peoples immersion.

I have read the stated post and have liked it for proof (just in case) and understand how i should be putting more effort into roleplaying by the example given about the sunglasses and asking how peoples day is going. This makes me understand what type of things i will do if im ever in that situation again.

 
Alright you have read the post. You say you understand to putt more effort into roleplay. 
There is only way to prove this, And thats by showing us you can actually understand. 
So i will give you a other chance,  This prove you can give high quality rp. Keep in mind if you are not sure there is high quality rp, Dont pull the trigger.
