I was banned for shooting a PCSO who was restrained during a big conflict between Exodus and the Police force. RDM is not tolerated on the servers and that is the reason Drew punished me for that.

Why should we unban you ?
I feel I should have another chance to play on the server again. What I done was against the rules and I should not of done it. The whole situation was over my head it was heated. Communications were bad and everything got out of hand. The PCSO I killed was restrained however when someone gets restrained it has that little animation of him pulling his gun out and putting it away before his hands go behind his back. That was when I shot. I did think he was holding his taser however due to the bad communications I took the shot only later to realize that a report on the officers got me banned.

RDM is not tolerated on the servers and I will put the rule into my own words what I believe it means.

RDM - Killing someone in a situation without having some kind of high quality roleplay before using lethal force on another player. Initiations come into play with RDM and they should be of high standard instead of saying "hands up or die" for example.

I am sincerely sorry for the inconveniences I have made and I make a promise not to mess up again. Thank you.

what will you do different next time, if you got in the same situation ?

If I got in the same situation I would take time to observe what's going on, I would always think of a more passive option than having a gunfight. I would wait for clear communications before taking the shot if I was forced too. I believe gunfights should always be the last resort and I will try to implement that in my gameplay If I were to get unbanned.

The rule I broke is as follows: (7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together.

In my own words this rule means before you engage in lethal or non lethal force on another player you MUST roleplay the situation before hand. Make the situation interesting for both parties, engage in high quality roleplay with them. DO NOT kill people for no valid reason or without a high quality initiation. Executing a player during a gunfight is alright without roleplay which is the only exclusion.

Rules are in place to make the server run smoothly and make it enjoyable for all players. The rules keep the server professional and free from rulebreakers due to no lengths on bans.

When is it okay to shoot someone?

Where are you allowed to shoot someone?

 
To shoot someone you have to initiate on them with quality roleplay and give some demands. If they fail to meet the demands after giving them multiple chances you may shoot them. Do not shoot them after one warning give them a few. You may shoot also if someone is robbing you and they threaten your life. Then you can defend yourself by using your weapon. 

Red zones require no roleplay and you can shoot anyone inside the zone as this is classed as a conflict area so to say.
