I was banned for engaging after being revived.

Why should we unban you ?
when I first joined I read the rules. I was mistaken on the rules after being downed. It was a genuine mistake and I wouldn't have done what I did if I knew it was an obvious breach of rules. I am sorry for this mistake and if given the chance to return I would be very thankful. I would also just like to say I have done a lot of good on the island welcoming and helping new players get started. I hope you can take that into account. I really enjoy a lot of the characters on the server and enjoy in engaging good roleplay. Thank you for your time.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. 

(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).

This rule is in place to encourage good RP between two parties. A gunfight should be last resort as it would be. 

(5.4) When you are revived/downed:

You may not actively enter or continue any combat situation for the next 15 minutes.

Your character retains all knowledge of the time before they are downed.

While you are downed you may not divulge tactical information to anyone. The exception to this is information spoken in direct chat in game. Please be mindful that you are heavily injured and should act accordingly.

This rule is in place to prevent  unrealistic outcome to a RP scenario. This represents a obvious change in circumstance regardless of no memory loss.

Hi thanks for getting back to me again. 

After going through the rules thoroughly and understanding them I would have acted injured and vulnerable with strong role play. eg. I would have communicated better and engaged in some kind of negotiation. I certainly wouldn't have used my weapon and can assure you it will not happen again.
