In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I'm not really 100% sure to be honest as it was a long time ago but the last thing i remember playing i killed someone guy out of a chopper with a friend and it was my friend that intiated, as i think i was banned for this situation i'm going to talk about this one. Me and my friend were going around and were really bored, we were both about to get off so we quickly found this chopper and intiated on it and i need to be honest it wasn't a great initiation and i do feel bad about it. Since then i have been banned and only till I want to come back as I forgot how good this server was.

Why should we unban you ?
I would like to be unbanned because i haven't played arma 3 a lot although I have played a lot of arma 2 (not so much rp) and I did really enjoy arma 3 a while ago when i was playing it and i wanted to come back to it. I tried some other servers, tdm etc. and then came across RP servers again and that reminded me of this server and when I tried to connect I was banned . I would like to be un-banned as i miss the experiences i had on this server and i have a few IRL mates that play here and I would like to come back to this server as I feel i have not experienced a lot of what the server has got and I would like to play this server to its full potential. I hope you consider unbanning me as i understand that it was stupid what i did and i do feel bad about it. As I'm quite annoyed at myself about my ban I have re-read all the rules and made sure I am familiar with them. Thanks for reading

You decided to initiate on a fully spooled up heli taking off, there was no way the pilot could clearly hear you.

Yeah, I do remember this situation now. I am sorry about my stupid actions as it was really careless and just really poor. I never really knew at the time how quiet I was compared to the helicopter as i thought the voice aoukd be a bit louder but obviously not. Regardless I understand I should of not initiated like that and I really do apologise about it. I hope you can accept my apology and place your trust in me to not to anything similar to that again. I would like to remind you that I have fully read over the rules and made myself very clear to each one especially initiation rules.

EDIT: watching over the video again im fairly sure I never shot and I know I still intiated but I just wanted to point out i never shot or killed the pilot.

I mean if I am ever in a situation with a heli fully spooled up and no rp prior to that then I would not intiate but I'm assuming your asking how I would intiate/rp in a situation that looks possible to end up in a fight. The reason i would like to come back to this server isn't for the gunfights as that gets boring very fast when playing tdm/koth etc. I would like to come back for the RP standards on this server as not just the rules but the whole community were really nice and just about every person was great to rp with. Back to the question I would ensure in every situation I would rp to my best ability in the attempt of de-escalating the situation and try to make it a good, fun rp experience with others, by doing this I would have way more fun and possibly make more friends on the server.

(7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together. This means that when intiating on someone you must give high quality rp before shooting them meaning that I must give them  enough time to comply. I did not feel I gave him enough time nor high enough quality rp for me to kill him now that I look back at it. He did begin to fly off which may have caused my friend to shoot him but in my defence I never shot at all but I still did intiate and did initiate on a fully spooled up heli which I shouldn't of bothered even attempting as it was breaking rules and it lead to me being banned.

You made a mistake you got punished for it. now i do feel you have learned from this. 
So i gonna give you a 2nd chance. before joining i advice you go have a look at the rules.
