I was banned for 1.9((1.9) Providing a false age when applying to join a whitelisted faction in order to circumvent the age limits is punishable by a ban. ). I knew that this was going to happen. I was sure this was going to happen. I did this anyway. And now here we are. I never really thought I would be here. but life had other plans. I just want to say that I enjoyed the time in Poseidon even tho it was short and I was unlawfully there, I enjoyed it. I really don't understand why you hold double standards. You put a rule that denies people under 16 access to whitelisted factions because of some people's actions but you don't kick the ones that were in before. But that is not my problem. In my humble opinion there shouldn't be this rule but who the fuck am I to talk.

Why should we unban you ?
I knew from the beginning what was going to happen. I just wanted to experience it. But someone snaked on me so here we are. I was completely aware of the risks that I was undertaking doing this, but, at last, my trusting nature bought my demise. I am now here at your mercy trying to show you that this part of me will never see the light again. But now, now I will be trying to be as good as a human can be. I will not break any rules from now on.

I think this rule is in place to stop the 0.00001% of the people that are under 16 and want to join factions. Those 0.00001% are the people that want to destroy the server. Anyone who I played with can say I am not that type of guy. Even this day in Poseidon I don't think anyone had any problems with me, didn't even cross their minds I wasn't 16.This rule is incredibly stupid as maturity comes not with age but with life. It comes to people at different ages based of their lifestyle. If you judge people on their age and not on their character something is wrong with the system. I know you don't want to be babysitters but I know people under 16 that are much wiser and mature than most 16 year olds( Many people I know consider me inside that category). I know that you were pushed to apply this rule after some unfortunate events but you shouldn't punish a whole group(the people under 16) for the doings of some people. But I am not someone who can change these things as I am not mature enough in someone's eyes so I cant state my opinion(or it wont be heard.)

2.The two warnings

1. Landing in a greenzone -This was when I was still new to the server and didn't know the rules fully. Since then I didn't have any accidental rule breaks.

2.Metagaming- We were at the airport and chatting with some guys when we heart someone is teamspeak say he's being robbed in kavala. I look on the map for him and see his gps. At the same time he writes the same thing in ooc. We didn't really notice it. After a while we see his gps is still not taken and we arrive at the destination. There a quick gunfight then everyone comes to our laison saying we metagamed. They said they took his gps but because of a bug the gps was still visible on the map. Because we didn't have a recording of the events we all got a warning for metagaming.


I really hope I didn't give you the impression I was ranting about the rule, I just gave my opinion. I knew what I was doing, I just feel like this rule could get some rework.

No its there for many reasons and one of them is down to the fact we have had under 16's in the past wrongly accuse people older of saying inappropriate things, its there to protect minors as well as protecting people over 16s, There is a big list some serious some not so serious but still important and its a rule that will always be there.

You might not consider it important or as you said think it shouldn't be there but you do not see the bigger picture and you're too young to understand or run a community responsibly 

The issue you have now is not only do you have a permanent ban which you are appealing, you are also blacklisted from ever joining any faction again as you cannot be trusted.

A little silly really, You your willing to take the risk and break a rule that's very serious, how can we trust you with the rest of the rules?

I am sorry for what I said earlier. Very sorry. I knew that I was going to get banned. I still don't know why I did it. The people that snaked on me did as they should, I know. If they wouldn't have, they would have broken a rule. They did what they were supposed to do, I didn't. I understand your point and understand that I am not trusted. 

I never before this broke a rule willingly and never after will do that. I fully understand that I am blacklisted from all factions. I know that what I did was bad, but I still did it. I do not know how to convince you I will never do it again. I don't have a reason to do it again, I suppose. It never went through my head that I may be hurting a member of this community by breaking this rule. Now I can see what I've done. I never wanted to ruin roleplay and never will. I suppose the only way to show you I will not repeat this stunt is to get unbanned and never get in this position again.

Now, with a cold head, I can see what you mean. I don't know all the reasons. I was wrong to assume I did. I don't see the bigger picture. I think all rules are important. I was silly in my quest to become Poseidon and in the first part of this appeal. I will accept any other punishment for my action if I can play on my favorite server again.

I do not understand tho what you mean by wrong community.I never played on other communities for more than 10 minutes.

After all of this I have 2 things to say:

  1. I deeply apologise to you for waisting your time with my foolishness and Poseidon's command time as well.

  2. I deeply apologise for my so called "rant" in my first post as it was not appropriate for someone in this community.

Well I have to say 1 thing: I never wanted to break a rule. In the moment I took that decision I had to chose between being a rule abiding citizen or my personal enjoyment. I was greedy and selfish. I chose what would entertain me over what was right. I don't really know( even now, after some time spent thinking about the events) why I pushed myself to do what I did. I could have tried this month ago, a voice always telling me I could(my inner self, I suppose), but I always said no and continued. Even now I don't know what made me push the boundaries and walk on the agreement I made with myself to not break the rules. I am very sorry to waste your time with this appeal, but I know I have to do it, I have to do everything in my power to get this appeal accepted as this would make me feel as I would have repented my sins. My only with now with this server is to get unbanned and play normally, as I did before, before this idiocy took over my rational decision making and put me in this situation.

I think it was my fault for not being able to contain this felling of envy I suppose that pushed me to break rule 1.9 and get banned. 

So finally, I am saying sorry for the time I am wasting, as I know you have other (better) thing to do than respond to appeals, but this is my way to repent my sins.

If I get unbanned, I will continue doing what I was doing before this madness started(on my part). I will follow the rules. I was always here for roleplay, one of the things that pushed me into taking the decision of joining Poseidon was the roleplay I could create if I was in that position. So as a short answer to your question, I will be here for roleplay.
