In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I got banned for RDM, I think it was more a misunderstanding than anything really. I'll explain the situation again: Me and my friends were camping for about 15 minutes waiting on the road to drug processing for people to come with their trucks. A police car came to that road and I think he saw our spike strip so dodged it and did a U-Turn. They stopped the car next to the spike strips and next to our initiator. He jumped out of the bush and told them: ''Put your hands behind your back please, we have multiple people around.'' 2 police officers jumped out and didn't move but 1 police officer jumped out of the car and ran to the other side of the road. While he was running away the initiator yelled: ''dont move or you will get shot'' while he said that I started shooting him. After we killed all the police officers me and my friends instantly got banned without talking to us in any way. After I got banned I think I talked to Wolfy (I can't really remember) but I think he just told us to make a unban appeal.

I was nearly sure I had to stay there but apperently not, sorry for that. I'll continue my unban appeal here:


I went into teamspeak (Today 5th of February) and talked to TomTheDoge. I talked to him when I got banned and I was being kind of annoying back then but I made up with everyone (Including TomTheDoge) and he told me he would talk to Wolf or Robbie, i'm not sure anymore. I came back half a week later and asked him about it but he never replied, I guessed he was busy and tried it a week, a month 2 months later, never really got a reply. Stopped then and decided to wait it out. My friend asked me about it today and went to TomTheDoge himself to talk to him and I later joined the conversation. He told me I could make another unban appeal (Not a perm unban appeal) to explain why I think I was unfairly banned. The reason for me thinking that I got unfairly banned is because when I talked to tom today this was a note to my ban: "Opened fire on a police patrol without initiation from his friends, took it upon himself to open fire along with John Nunn." I have video proof of my friend initiating on the police officers. I think the misunderstanding here is that my friend did initiate but he didn't threaten their lifes. He pointed a gun to their face and told them to put their hands up. I thougt that we threatened their lifes with that but we didn't. I've seen alot of people being able to talk to the people they RDM'D and they can give comp or talk it out. We all got banned after the situation was over which I think was kind of stupid too, we went to teamspeak after and he just told us to make a unban appeal from what I remember. I don't think he wanted to talk it out but just wanted us to make a unban appeal. I really think I deserve another chance since I really thought we initiated correctly and I didn't do it on purpose. I'll make sure to spend more time roleplaying with the community since that is what roleplaying is all about. I'm sure this mistake won't happen again. I'm really glad that I got this second chance from Tom to make another unban appeal for this situation aswell.

Sorry for the 45minute video, The police car comes at 42 minutes in the video. (You can hear us verry confused when I said I was banned, as it was not my intention to RDM anyone and I did not know what I did wrong at that time.)

So, do you consider "Don't move or you'll be shot" high quality RP, along with the fact there was no chance for him to actually comply?   You also started firing before he had even attempted to initiate.

I see the things I did wrong in the situation. I don't think it was a good RP situation in the first place. My friend tries to initiate but the first thing one of the cops did is run away. Which doesn't help the roleplay situation. (Not trying to blame them for starting a bad rp situation) How do you mean with there was no chance for him to actually comply? We told them to put the hands up and 5 seconds later he started running. Or the part where my friend said stop running or you will be shot? Like I said, I really do know I shot to early there and that it was my fault and no one else. I'll make sure that next time me or my friends initiate I'll think about what we said before shooting. At the time I really just thought that we initiated in the first place when we told them to put their hands in the air.

The 2nd part, you'd already started firing before he'd finished speaking. 

The thing is, if you had waited for him to finish you'd be in the same situation as there was no high quality RP there in the first place

I see what you mean with that. As I said, I see alot of things what I did wrong but I truly did learn from the situation and I know what to do next time we initiate. I know I shot to early and should of waited until my friend was done talking and to finish the initiation.

You understand that with this type of record if you were to get unbanned, it would be a final chance, another rule break will likely lead to you getting an extended or perm ban?

I'd expect nothing less, Thats why I'm going to make sure I wont break rules again. Trying to do everything possible to avoid any kind of ban.

Using the said situation as an example, please 'in detail' explain how you would do things differently now that you've learned from it.

How I would do things different in the situation as being on the hill as a sniper? Continue to wait and not panic. Listen to how my friend is initiating and wait for him to be done talking with the cops. Then shoot depending on how the conversation ends. If they try to run away after we've given them enough time to comply and initiated with high quality roleplay, shoot at them. Or maby if the conversation ends up being bad for us, run away or make a deal with the cops. Or if the police starts shooting of course we should shoot back.

Remember that not everything has to end up in a gunfight, there is usually always another avenue you can take.
