I was banned due to logging out after being handcuffed by police.

Why should we unban you ?
I have a genuine reason for logging of at that point, it was very late on a Wednesday (actually Thursday morning) and I have school to attend the next day. I didn't mean to combat log at all, I was just being time conscious and tried to roleplay it out as best I could, saying something like "I must go to sleep now" - I know this does not justify logging out, but I was tired and not consciously thinking of the rules at that point and just wanted to go to sleep. My apologies to anyone this may have affected.

So there are a couple of things here which I would like to discuss.

Firstly the ban notes say you opened fire on police without saying anything.

Secondly, you joined the server at midnight, then played for about 56 minutes before combat logging.

First point: I was tired and the situation was 2 police cars front and behind my car, I jumped out and started yelling orders at them but I was still accidentally in vehicle channel - so a honest mistake on my part. I am pretty sure the police officer was aware of this.

Second point: I didn't purposely combat log. I was honestly tired and attempted to roleplay me leaving the server at that time. As for the timing of me joining and leaving, playing for nearly an hour can get tiring especially at those hours. I was playing with a friend for about 1/3 of the total time I was online, so when the final encounter happened I was pretty tired.

i dotn really see how you accidently can combatlog. 
you choose to close/abort the game. that was you doing it. not a accident. 
So if you roleplay you are leaving the server, its then okey to just leave the server. because you roleplayed it?

Maybe you misunderstand what I am trying to say.

It was not accidental to leave, true

But it was not my intention to disturb gameplay or break server rules. I had a genuine reason for leaving and I apologise.

If it not your intention  to break server rules why did you log off when you were going to prison ? 

You state genuine reason to leave the server because you are tired and don't want to go to prison is not a genuine reason. 

So if you getting tired again you will leave the server again because you fell is a genius reason to just leave while you are in mid roleplay ?

I will not make the same mistake twice. 
I did not intend to at the time, because I was tired and was not thinking about the rules of the server. If I had the thought in my head that logging off at any moment could've been a breach of the rules I obviously wouldn't have done it.

This experience has been a huge wakeup call to myself, I don't think I'll let myself slack like I did that night.

alright, Let this be a huge lesson for you. 
there is no good reason to break any server rule. 
If you get tired, You wait out the full roleplay before logging off. 
i recomend you read the rules a couple of times before logging on again. 
So you dont forget them.
