Member of the team that banned you.
CSI Fry

Reason given for your ban.
RDM Bluezone

The Server you initially was banned on.
Server 1

In your own words, Please type why you think you was banned
CSI Fry saw me RDM a player with a spike strip in a blue zone. I believe he thought it intentional when it actually wasn't.

Why should we unban you.
A Ifit had just parked itself in the bluezone by NPAS, so I thought about laying a spike strip behind it. I was told to not to but I already had pressed the used button. While trying to retract the spike strip my frame rate went bonkers. As my frame rate went kaput and I did not realise I had hit anyone. It was a pure accident. When I realised, I ran back to revive the chap but as I was doing it, CSI Fry kicked me.

Please confirm this unban request is for you.

This whole Scenario should have been avoided, the Ifrit was parked and the driver was out of the vehicle talking to officers, you then ran over to try and spike it with the spike strip out, nearly blowing up a SUV and injuring multiple people in the area along with killing one person. There was no need to spike the ifrit as it was being roleplayed. Once the "Rebel" aka CSI Walt was killed with the spike resulting in RDM inside the bluezone, you ran into your offroad leaving him dead, nothing was said from you at any point during this whole incident, no attempt to even apologise to the man or revive him.

Hi Fry,

RE: Laying the spike strip. Yes I did lay it down because I was told to. But as I about to place it, I was told not to and to pick it back up. This is what caused the issue. my trying to pick it up while a Massive lag happened.

Your argument is valid and it is a RP, that is correct but we have to access this RP through a computer and internet. We have a major storm that has hit the UK in past couple of days. Internet lines are not running up to normal speed. Please, Please consider pc issues and lag. There has been a tonne of d-synced's and pc issues with many people because of it.

Regarding leaving the guy there. Due to my framerate, I didn't see the body. in fact, I didnt even see myself moving the spike strip around, that was how bad my framerate was. So when I didn't see the body (because it was laggy and jumpy) I ran straight past. When I did realise, I did come back to revive him. I did try to resolve it as I was in the middle of trying to revive him but then I got kicked, if I was given a few more minutes, he would have been revived. I know you saw it because I did see your name next to me.

As stated, my frame rate was kaput which also included TS. I was trying to say over the game how sorry I was and that I will revive him. Everything was choppy. I am deeply sorry for what happened.

This was a pure accident. Please consider that piece of information.

Lastly, please note I follow the rules very closely. Even when no one is around I follow what needs to be done to the T. My scores for the PA are one of the highest. If I am so strict on myself to follow the rules, why would I purposely RDM someone and also RDM them in a blue zone? Makes no sense. This was simply an accident and I would be greatly appreciated if you can see my sincere apologies and know that is was unintentional.

Sorry for the double post. But come to think of it, even after a reboot, I posted a post twice. I'm having PC issues and will sort it out before relogging (if you consider me to be able to relog)

@Fry @Hugo000  I got a recording including the lag spike. I think its safe to say me and HugOOO play on potatos. I am not putting an opinion on this howver i just showing vido of Hugo000's surprise that it happend as he didnt realise and him trying to revive the guy before his ban. Sorry for quality due to me recovering from recycle bin and my voice is out of sync, i believe other audio is fine. Hope this helps - PCSO Sam Jones

Thanks Sam!

My framerate was much more worse than that...thanks though.

Fry you can see me trying to help and on the comms I was saying and trying to revive him before you kicked me. You can even see me bend down trying to help.

Once again, I am so very sorry this incident happened and wish I could have been given a few more seconds to revive him.

What I've learnt from this is that a) SpikeStrips can kill people, b) No Spikestrips in blue, green zones.

Thank you.

If this was a Civ/Rebel was caught doing this would that justify what happened, the simple answer is no, which is why the ban was issued, no faction gets special treatment, in fact its even worse for a police officer to do this, the issue i have as a Game Moderator and a CSI of the police force, is that you were the only person to run with a spike even after the driver stopped the vehicle and walked over to other police officers to talk. It may be an illegal vehicle but if its being roleplayed and had stopped there was no need to run over. Also from the video cannot hear anyone giving you the order to spike the ifrit and can clearly hear CSI Walt talking to officers before he get murdered with the spike strip.

Anyway going to leave this for an admin to deal with. @Crumble@BratJaggesVlnd @Thesoldier

I've spoken to Fry and understand his point of view. Thank you Fry for speaking to me. I've also spoken to Walt and have apologised for the event.

Regards

Hugo

You should't have went and spiked the ifrit, as fry said it was being roleplayed...

Seems to me you just wanted to scrap it... However I do believe you know where you wet wrong. Just think before you do anything next time ok?

I'm Happy to issue the unban, just take everything that was said by Fry seriously and don't let me see you here again.

Unbanned 16/11/15
