In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
My friends were involved in a chase of 2 guys, they were then killed ( VDM/RDM'd ) and I asked them if they initiated for friends and allies as most people do, they answered yes and so when I had the chance, I shot and downed the 2 that VDM'd/RDM'd my friends and then they respawned, I called the medics and waited till they were all revived, I then proceeded to lockpick their HEMMT's when an accident involving NHS Heli and my friends Heli which killed me and a few others, while I was downed I was banned, I proceeded to inquire with Stavik and CC mryan and was then informed that there was actually no initiation for friends and allies, making my kills RDM.

Why should we unban you ?
I accepted the decision without argument as I realised the reason behind the ban after it happened, as it was the only thing as far as I could tell that I couldve done wrong. I understand why this was RDM as I did not ensure a proper initiation was made by my friends for myself, in this case I believe it was a simple misunderstanding between me and my friends and I will ensure this doesn't happen again, In the future I will fully ensure that there is a proper initiation and good RP before even thinking about engaging in a gunfight.

So your friends were dead and yet told you what they'd (supposedly) said in roleplay and you then used this information? Is that okay?

At the point I asked whether an initiation was made, one of my friends was still alive as he was following in a car (the others were VDM'd in their heli) and he was the one who answered. the others were too busy complaining about VDM)

I really don't like the word "initiation". It's thinking like that that ends up with people like you here, in unban appeals. There is no magic phrase that you can say that will allow you, or your friends, to shoot at anyone.

As shown above, the rules only mention "engaging in any form of quality role play" which, in this scenario, would include someone directly involved in the situation needing to bring up the fact that you are around and are going to get involved with whatever is happening. Like I said, there is no "magic phrase" that someone can say to let you shoot, and even the commonly used "I've got friends in the area" isn't really enough; in fact, my usual response to that in game is "that's lovely ... so what?"!

Every RP scenario is different, and every scenario must contain quality RP before any shots can be fired.

We like people interacting with each other on the server, as without it, we wouldn't have the community that we do. We'd much rather see you talking to those other people, and making an interesting and entertaining scenario out of it, rather than shooting them. Remember: just because you can shoot someone, doesn't mean you have to. In this situation, there hadn't been enough for you to shoot in the first place, which, whilst I understand that you thought you could because your friends told you that you could, is what landed you in trouble!

Yeah I understand completely, I recently was in a really great gang that prized roleplay over everything else, which really helped me to understand the server alot better, and get alot of fun memories with some absolute strangers! I normally would try to roleplay to the best of my ability, however in this situation I wass thinking mroe about revenge for them killing my friends than roleplay, so If this were to happen again I would approach, still in a cautious manner as they have just murdered my friends however I would try to negotiate and maybe even perform a citizens arrest and wait for the police to arrive. That to me would be some top quality RP and in hindsight would have been the best outcome for all parties involved.

You seem to understand where you've gone wrong and messed it all up, we don't want to see another appeal from you again for something similar so make sure you think about your actions before you do actually do anything.
