In your own words, Why do you think you was banned: I think it is because I started talking in sidechat with a crew member named Muzzle (who did NOT follow at all the plan we agreed and walked straight into an ambush, costing me a LOT of money) and the gang who ambushed us. I got verbal with Muzzle and he started threatening me with a ban for swearing in side chat. I think the only swearing I used was "Fuck off" when he wanted to talk to talk to me about what happened. We never talked very much after that.
Another possible reason is that I asked as a joke only one thing: "Is there a movie out called "Niggers in space"?" ("Niggers in space" was the name of a clan I was in, in Sins of a Solar Empire and nobody ever told us that it is insulting or that we must change it), as that name suddenly popped in my head.
Please copy and paste the rule you think you broke: 1B) Racism is punished by a permanent ban without appeal
1C) Swearing at someone outside of roleplay is not tolerated and punished by a ban
Please give reasons why we should give you a final chance: I read and memorized what seemed the most important rules like RDM, VDM, cheating, NLR, safe zones. I have re-read all the rules carefully this time. It seems a bit odd that in a game where I can rob, murder, kidnap and swear as much as I want with a microphone to people, I am not allowed to say any insult to someone in chat. I think I was also provoked by that guy to lose it as we did not get along very well and he told me to "relax dude, it's just a game" after I lost so much because of him.
For the racist joke, I did NOT want to insult anyone, if I did, I am sorry. I live in Romania, and here being racist is strongly encouraged even by parents as gypsies who left the country have given us a bad reputation in all of Europe.
I will not swear in sidechat, I will not make any racist jokes and I will not break any other rules. If my word is not enough a permanent mute from sidechat should do.
