I broke role play and called someone a f*got

Why should we unban you ?
First of all i would like to apologise the person involved as the insult was not intended to be a homophobic attack, its was simply the first swear word that came to my mouth in the heat of anger. The only reason i broke role play was because i was so angry at time, in the time playing i have always engaged in as much role play as possible and enjoy doing so, i believe the other person involved in fact RDM'd me but i have no proof of this. I should have not acted in this way and lost my temper at the time and i fully understand what i did was wrong, this is so out of character for me i'm such a chill guy!! If i was allowed back on the server i can assure you this would never happen again, I've owned this game for a week now and have over 50 hours of game play on your server alone and have loved every minute of it, would love the chance to come back and be a part of the community again.

Discrimination such as homophobia is a permanent ban without appeal. The question I have to ask myself is do I want someone who thinks that it's OK to just say disgusting things? Now I understand that you say it was in the heat of the moment and because you were angry but it still doesn't make it OK. Who's to say that you won't get angry and say these things again? And for the first swear word that came to your mouth... That must say something. To me, it says that you're a frequent user of these sorts of derogatory words and for that I do think that I can trust that you won't do these sorts of things again.

I am really struggling to decide what I should do here. I could deny you very easily and move on knowing that someone who uses these sorts of "swear words" as an insult or I could consider you and give you a chance. I am torn.

Thank you for responding so quickly, i can assure you that if you give me another chance i will not let a anger outburst like this happen again and will seek proper advice with how to deal with the situation. I know what i did was wrong and should not have acted in this way, i really do hope i didn't offend the person involved as the word i used was used out of context and wasn't meant to be offensive. I hope i can be apart of this community again as i enjoyed the time i was on the server.

I broke both rules 1.2 and 1.3.

Rule 1.2 states “Discrimination of any kind is punished by a permanent ban without appeal.”
Personally, I would class discrimination as the mistreatment of someone due to circumstances out of their control, such as: their gender, race, sexuality, disability or overall physical appearance.
In the instance relating to this appeal, the comments made were not intended as that of discrimination, but just as an outburst of frustration. I understand that the word I used is totally unacceptable in general society and that I should not have said it. I am completely sincere in my apology for the use of my language and I am confident in saying that it will not happen again.

Rule 1.3 states “Swearing at someone outside of roleplay is not tolerated and will be punished by a ban.”
This rule pretty much speaks for itself, breaking roleplay to swear at someone, even in the event of an RDM/VDM is unacceptable. This server runs a very strict roleplay policy in which a user must never break RP over voice and in the heat of the moment, I violated for that policy. Again, for this I am sincerely apologetic and can promise that it will not happen again.

How I would play the situation differently.

In the instance that caused my unfortunate ban, both myself and a friend I was playing with were RDM’ed by someone who shot at us without any previous warning or interaction. If this were to happen again I would contact the players involved and ask them to join me in teamspeak to try and resolve things, if it could not be settled here i would seek advice from a member of staff to see where i stand in the situation, i can assure you that i wont let my anger get the better off me and take time to think about what the right think to do is.

It's VERY uncommon that someone banned for the offences commited here to get unbanned, especially in a normal appeal however I apopreciate the effort in this appeal and you demonstrate an understanding of what you've done wrong.

You will be unbanned but imagine you are on a tightrope, you don't want to swing too far to the left or right otherwise you will fall into the abyss.
