In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned as a result of me shooting a person who was capturing the flag of a rebel outpost that my gang was holding, i had recently asked is side chat whether this action was allowed and one person confirmed that this was not an action of RDM.

Why should we unban you ?
I have just recently joined the server and was learning the rules aswell as it was a case of miscommunication which i trusted this certain player with which unfortunately lead to me committing RDM.

In the rules it clearly states killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay:

[SIZE=medium](7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. [/SIZE]

Shooting someone for capturing a flag is not even close to quality RP. If you are new and in the process of learning the rules, why not just you know, read them a dozen times instead of trust people in sidechat? I mean, I've seen people claim in sidechat ''this is not a rp server rdm is allowed'', doesn't make it true.

Please explain what you would do different if unbanned and in the same situation?

i would more than likely just allow them access to the flag and flee the area as i was out numbered and had no chance of survival.
