this post has been written by silv3rstyles and posted on my behalf
by fronteir as i cannot access the website due to not receiving an activation email for my forum
account. i was told this was an option by admin/staff member [DCC] Curly.
I think i was banned because in the video it was possible
that my action could have been misinterpreted as VDM
when i was actually pulling over to keep the driver side of the vehicle
away from my attackers so i could get out and defend myself because i was
armed but i did not hear them initiate anything, i have seen
the video but no sound was heard on my end of the game at that time they tried to initiate
as i always go first person view and only use earplugs in aircraft but at the start of the video
i heard a car pull up and assumed they had guns and assumed robbery as that is what happens a lot in altis, i have only
been playing for just over a week and am still new so know of the goings on but dont know all of the controls
so when i got messaged about that situation i did not know how to respond, but when i
eventually did figure out what the controls were to respond she had left the game and i did not have a chance to discuss
the situation and i did not have team speak at the time as i use discord,
Why should we unban you ?
i should not get a banned for a misunderstanding i have now setup my record that is featured on my PC
so that if in future i do manage to get unbanned i will record my game play at all times. for situations in which video evidence is necessary,
i would like a chance to get the rules right as i have become a fan of this server set
and its community but dislike the way people rage quit and report before giving a new player a chance to respond ( like in this case )
that is the one thing that is wrong. As i would have happily co-operated and spoke to her about the issue.
i think with the amount of rules that there are its hard for a new player to remember as its a
lot to take in while trying to play the game or engage in battle but as it stands VDM and RDM are two rules i have learnt and understand well, And would not abuse
i am a mature player and would not break them and still have not, anyone can see that in the video my vehicle was swerving From having its tyres shot at :/
from what i took as RDM or attempted RDM against me, as i literally just finished repairing my vehicle and then jumped into it as i heard a car pull up and assumed robbery.
me being in Hemmt filled With what i believe was Processed iron had me in a sense of eagerness to escape - Understandably
and i was just managing to keep it in a straightish lines at points but anyhow
i had to pull over to defend myself and did so from first person view as that is the view i play the game in,
i must stress this point.
from my point of view i did not break any rule and just wish i had video evidence like she did to prove it because its making me look so bad here when in fact it was purely an accident.
i got unlucky in this situation i guess and i did not report but i obviously should have done when i believed it was unwarranted attack against me
But i literally am new Here and would really like to continue playing here. I would be willing to talk to anyone involved in the incident.
As i say i have only been here for one week and am Really getting into the play here. Its the best Community On Atlis life. and i really do not want to leave it.
I think it would be really unfortunate as i do have good play to offer the community. And hopefully this incident has not ruined it and can be resolved.
