I got banned after leaving the server when I was in custody of the police.

Why should we unban you ?
I've been wanted by the police for quite some time but I had only been arrested once before. When I was about to leave the server to go be with my friends in real life - I was restrained by police. I had no choice but to leave the server and break rp because my real life is more important than my gaming.

If I had not been in such a hurry to leave I would have stayed and done my time in prison.

Quite a convenient time to need to go? Surely when playing the server and organising things for IRL you have some level of concern as to when you will need to log off and how your in-game actions can affect your ability to log off? I'm not saying that the game is waaaaay more important than IRL, just simply saying some concern for other players is expected.

All in all, i'm not entirely convinced this is actually the case anyway.
