I have no idea I always make sure to respect the rules I mean I'm 29 I'm not 12.

I just figured out why I was banned actually I believe this is admin abuse and it is totally unrelated to this community.

Someone came to my community http://steamcommunity.com/groups/gaymer

And they started trolling - I had to ban a lot of people - and this guy was part of it I believe it was Droge not sure to be honest and he was like yeah unban me I said no if you want to be unbanned you are free to send a copy of your ID ( I asked for his actual ID ) to my email and he didn't want to and was all salty about it  - because we had people who were DDOSing me and my TS server.

In all cases I do whatever I want in my community and I have no broken any rules in this community .
This person is abusing their powers in this community by banning me here as the incidents are totally unrelated and quite frankly if the moderator is behaving this way it's giving me grounds to believe he was infact trolling on my teamspeak server and probably affiliated with the people who were DDOSing me and the server.

It's kind of shocking to have admins of a community issuing unrelated bans to a server like this.

That gave me the suspicion that this was a trick to abuse someone's ID copy. Something which is not welcome here at all. I searched for his steamID and saw that this guy started playing on our servers 2 or 1 day ago. To protect our community, I banned this guy.

To sum it up: People that are tricking people to send ID's over the internet are not welcome here.

You can't deny the fact that you were with your friends on the server - If I need to query out Database to prove it I will. You joined with other Dutch people to troll our server. the mere fact that you are not mentioning them here is very suspicous in my opinion
Secondly I started playing in this community in 2015 and I have never broken any rule. I don't really see why I would go through such an extend to get ID on the internet when there are more simpler ways and ways which would not ruin my clear web reputation.

Claiming otherwise is simply refusing to admit that you were caught and acted irrationally because you were bitter about the incident.

I honestly don't understand why you are accusing me of Trolling. I don't have dutch friend's lol. Go ahead and give me the prove. 

Regardless of that, why are you forcing me to give a copy of my Personal ID. Even if I was trolling?

Those are rules that I have in place for trolls because they always refuse to provide any type of information and simply move on with their trolling life.

While I will admit that this rule is controversial and needs to be reviewed - Thats the rule I currently have in place in my comunity and It's quite obvious that the rule is not their to steal identities as the logs of the conversation we had together can clearly demonstrate.

You know you have no legal right to ask for someone's personal information or identification over the internet. 

Although it didn't happen in this community, it's shady as hell and illegal in certain parts of the world, and we have a duty and obligation to protect our members. Fact is he believed you were attempting to fraud people and felt he should ban you to protect our members. However you at the same time believed he was "trolling" your community, but even if he was "trolling" to ask for physical identification is what made him believed he was being defrauded.

Your screenshots show nothing but confusion on his end why he was banned, he wasn't being salty or vindictive. I know Droge and he's one of this communities hardest staff workers. 

After doing research I can see you run what appears to be a legitimate general gaming community and I applaud you for it being dedicated towards "LGBT" gamers 

Going forward I think this was a misunderstanding between both parties and there was no abuse.

I'll issue an unban, however I want you to know that if you choose to play here, demanding people to share their personal information is a big NO NO around here

I agree that this rule is problematic and will not enforce it further and will review this rule in our next staff meeting wednesday.

I will unban Droge from my server if he wishes to rejoin in the future.

I thank everyone for the time they spent resolving this misunderstanding.

As a law enforcement officers, in my professional opinion I would advise if you have a community with a policy of asking for identification or personal information that you should stop. You open yourself up to civil/criminal liability if any personal information gained is used to commit identity theft, fraud, etc...
