Becouse i was stupid and rammed a cop car chasing me
Why should we unban you ?
Becouse i really enjoyed playing on the server, i spend alot of time on the server and had a great time rolleplaying, so after 17 month of not playing arma i would love to come back to this server and have some fun once more. Now i understand the rules i read them many times and i understand that i cant do stuff like that i dont know why i did it i knew the rulles it was just childish. But it was long time ago i am more mature now and i promise it wont happen again.
Yes i have been baned once before but since it was a long time ago i dont remember what was it for so i cant quote the exact rule i broke.
(2.1) Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).
(2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) is considered RDM. (Punishment is a ban).
(2.5)Combat logging at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained (Punishment is a ban, which may be permanent. *) *Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first).
(4.1) Side Chat - Using intelligence gained on side chat to influence actions in game. Punishment is a kick/ban.
(4.2) Name Tags - You are not allowed to identify players in game via nametags or keychains. Police, NHS and UNMC ranks (only ranks!) are fine, as they “wear clothing with the rank on” unless they are undercover. (Not in their uniform or masked.) (Punishment is a kick/ban)
(4.3) Scouting teamspeak - Searching through Teamspeak to see what police/rebels are doing (e.g. Seeing police are in Bank/Hostage operation room, then acting on this information) (Punishment is a ban)
(4.4) If you are restrained and communications have been removed you must not be active on any other forms of communications other than direct chat. (Punishment is a ban)
(4.5) Using the stats.Roleplay.co.uk stats page to gain information about players or gangs and then use that information ingame is considered metagaming. (Punishment is a ban)
(4.6) Stream Sniping - If you are on the server or have a friend on the server do not watch someone who is live streaming on our server and use their location information or information from that stream to meet up with them/kill them etc (Punishment is a ban)
(4.7) Using out of game communications to encourage other players to log on and sway the result of an event or roleplay situation is forbidden. Similarly, joining the server using metagamed information is forbidden. (Punishment is a ban)
VDM- Using your vehicle for anything else then getting from one location to another, ramming other cars, running people over is not alowed . That excludes MRAPS, with which you can ramm other mraps but you still have to initiate.
RDM- Killing somebody without initiating roleplay(excluding red zones), you must give enough time to comply with your orders.
Metagaming - Using any type of information gained outside the game, roleplay for example scouting teamspeak, using stats page to get information about a player that and using it ingame, using name tags to identify a player, stream sniping.
Combat logging- Exploiting the game by logging out when your being chased by cops, your in a gunfight or in order to save your gear, money.
NLR- It means that after you die by a cop, in an accident or in a roleplay situation you forget about your death and everything leading to it(cars locations, enemies, roleplay situations), you dont forget though your friends/gang members. If you need to involve the death in a roleplay situation you tell stories of somebody else that died but was with you there and you escaped.
Well i don't know what was going through my head in that moment i just wasn't thinking about what i was doing. I just hope i can get another chance to prove i can bring good quality roleplay without breaking any rules
For starter its been a while since i played on a rp server so i probably would drive around and try to find roleplay situations to get back to it, then maybe try to join the nhs.
