2.2 RDM and 7.1.3 Low Quality Roleplay

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I failed to check i was in Direct chat before speaking and giving my demands to someone, this resulted in them not hearing me they had a firearm out and were speaking i wasn't sure what they were saying and they were not complying with my orders (that i thought i gave but i was in Group chat) then they started firing and i killed them, I could be wrong about some details I cannot remember everything about the incident,it was RDM since i did not say anything to them in direct chat (thought i was in direct chat the whole time).

Why should we unban you ?
i have been on this server for years and years now, I love it no better RP server out there I realise that what i done was unacceptable but it was an accident, if unbanned i will not make the same mistake again i will improve my role play severely and make sure to check before speaking, I love this Server had so many great times and met so many people i still talk to, I would just like 1 more chance to Prove i can be valuable to this community again, Thank you ~Dinky.

Hello @Dinky before I make a decision on this appeal I have a couple of questions

1. Could you quote the rules that you broke and tell me why they are in place?
2. How are you going to make sure you are talking in direct in the future?
3. Have a look at this report and tell me what you could've done better next time .

1. (2.2) Random Deathmatch (also known as RDM) - Shooting at someone without engaging in any form of quality role play is considered RDM. (eg. Giving enough time for them to comply with your order. Count downs are not considered quality roleplay, please at least attempt to create an interesting roleplay story before considering shooting.) Punishment is a ban.

1.(7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together.

RDM is in place so that you cannot kill/shoot anyone without proper initiation.

(7.1.3) This to Prevent low quality role play and initiation also it games the game more enjoyable and immersive.

2. I will always check what channel I am in before speaking getting out of a car or any situation that will require me to speak.

3. what could i have done better, I could have done alot better actually before getting out the car i should have checked i was in direct chat, as for the report i tried to go to teamspeak to sort it out with him for a few days but we weren't on at the same time, i messaged him saying i was on TS and ready to sort it out I didn't see when he replied since i was out, then i had a problem with my router sometimes the router works and i have internet sometimes it would be on but the internet wasn't working because of this i just kinda was off my pc most of the time till my router was fixed, when i came back i saw that i was banned, Next time i will always check what channel i am in before getting out of the car, If i have problems with my router i will try and let staff or the person know, if i did not have the problem with my router i would have seen his message and been able to sort it out and comp him, I am not blaming my router it was just really bad timing.

4. Mid negotiations, there were shots fired around me i though it was one of them trying to shoot at me Iater learned it was one of my team mates firing around me, Next time i will engage in higher quality roleplay and make sure i know who shot before reacting drastically .

Seeing apart from this ban you have a completely clean record with around 500 hours of playtime I'm going to see this as a mistake someone makes once and I will give you another chance. Before joining the server please reread over all the server rules again (especially RDM and the roleplay rules) and if you don't understand something come to Join for Support to ask. Don't let me down! @Dinky
