In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I believe I was banned due to an inappropriate gang name. I am unaware of the extent of how inappropriate or offensive this gang name may have been as it has been so long since it has happened, nor am I aware if I made the gang myself. I am sure that it would warrant a ban due to my immaturity at this stage, and I apologize for any inconvenience or offense this may have caused. Since I am unaware of what the name was, I am nearly certain it could be something absolutely horrible but I ask you to consider that at this time, I was 13 years old and the immaturity levels I had would have led to such an encounter.

Why should we unban you ?
At the time of the ban I was 13 years of age. I am unaware of what the name consisted of, but at this time I was very immature and practically still a child. I was reckless in my actions and would simply do things to try to be edgy which is a contrast to my personality now. I always abide by the rules on servers now, and despise people who intentionally break the rules to disrupt the game or to be "edgy", as I once was. I believe I could have been with friends at the time leading to me trying to be funny which also led to something majorly offensive I presume. I do apologize for whatever the gang name was, and nowadays I wouldn't think of doing anything like having an offensive gang name. Also, I am unaware if it was me who made the gang or if I was simply just a member of it but I am sure that if you were to ask me if I was to do such a thing today the answer would definitely be no. I want to play life servers again and this server is very appealing to me due to its strict format regarding the rules. It has no tolerance which will maximize the roleplay, something that has been missing from many altis life servers for years. I would be very interested in getting the best experience out of a life server through the utilization of roleplay, and I believe that this is where I will be able to find it. I do apologize for the conduct of my former self and whatever the gang name was, and I assure you this wont happen again if you give me the chance to redeem myself.

Its been a while since you received your ban, what has taken you so long to appeal? 

Quote us the rules that would cover warranting a ban for offensive gang names and explain them to us.

How do you think that you have changed?

I took a hiatus from playing Arma 3 for a number of years. This led to me forgetting about such bans and not appealing sooner, as I wasn't exactly anticipating to return to playing Arma 3. However, recently I have came back and began playing again and compared to a number of years ago, the amount of servers that feature regular rule breaking has skyrocketed leading me to attempt a return to this server.

Since I am unaware of the what the gang name was, I will quote the rules I would presume would cover any offensive gang names.

(1.6) The Staff Team may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they are considered disruptive to the community or we have a valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues. - This means that if the staff team were to see people specifically playing the server to cause trouble or to offend people such as the gang name I would have had, then they are allowed to ban said person. This would cover one of the reasons why I was banned, as I was being disruptive.

(1.7) This is an adult community and some things simply come down to common sense. - This means that simply not every single thing can be covered by all the rules that exist as certain scenarios may be unique yet you may perform an action which is unpredictable and obviously ruining the game for another person and is the bad thing to do in your mind and so the admins can ban you for something that may not be in the rules but is blatantly wrong to do.

I think that I have changed in the aspect that I have gained much more maturity throughout the years, and have been surrounded by people who value role play which has rubbed off on me despite not playing much Arma 3 for the past few years. I have learned to value fulfilling the role play aspect of life servers rather than just constant action, and this has made me a more patient person. However, I believe the main thing that has changed about me is that I have simply grown up. Going from 13 to 16 isn't many years, but is obviously a big jump in maturity levels dependent on the people you surround yourself with. I have been surrounded by people many years older than me from when I was banned, and this has lead to an increase in many aspects such as patience, compliance regarding rules and once again, maturity. I now am seeking something to fulfill what I want from Arma, and back then it was constant action and practically Wasteland, and today it is a serious role playing experience.
