In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned because the admin thought I was exploiting the rule (2.4) but my intention for closing my door was not to break the rule, but instead to lock up my house. There was two people in my house that randomly walked in with the police (they were hobos not police) who were causing interruption, I asked the cop nicely if he could tell them to exit my house, after this I proceeded to lock my door when the hobos walked out. The officer asked me how I closed my door since I was handcuffed. I told him I had a voice activated tool in my pocket for locking my house doors. The cop asked me to open my door so that he could escort me out of my house. I did as I was asked and locked the door behind me, not realizing that there was a cop in my house. I never had the intention of trapping the cop in my house, which I believe is the misunderstanding here.

Why should we unban you ?
First of all, I'll start off by saying this is the only server I have played and I enjoy this server very much with my friends. After reading through the rules again, I came to the realization that I need to be more careful than I already was in any given situation. If I come back I will continue making money and engage in fun roleplay with my buddies. Furthermore, I would also like to help out players new to the island, and making sure that people don't make a mistake like I did. Thank you for taking your time to read this, and I please ask that you give it a thought.

You were asked and warned multiple times to stop doing what you were doing by staff and yet you carried on, why do this? Will you bother listening to staff requests in the future? 

 
Yes I am sorry, it was a bad mistake and I tried to play it off by role playing it saying that I had a voice activated device. I regret this and am sorry for my actions. If there is a next time, I will make sure to listen so that something like this does not happen again.

The part about the VDM was a joke, and I never reported the guy but its something I shouldn't of said. Now the "retarted" part was  indeed on my part bc I was very hot headed about a situation, the fact that if someone loses a gun fight they call you into TS. So I do take full responsibility for the situation.

My fault for not adding this, the VDM part was directed towards a buddy who was just running me over for fun. The retarted part was immature and something that I will NOT do again.

 
Within the space of 5 days you received 2 warnings and a ban, it';s clear you don't know our rules, why did you not read them when joining our server?

 
This is completely my fault, when I joined (joined with a friend) I was completely oblivious to the website and rules, didn't have a very good idea at first but now I understand and know every rule and the things behind the rules, why you shouldn't do this, etc.

 
When you were warned by staff on the 2 other occasions, were you advised by them to read the rules?

 
On one of the occasions yes, and I had read all the rules briefly but when it came to the exploiting with doors that flew over my head Ig you could say. Once the officer told me to read the rules, I had just thought I could get myself out of it by doing my best to roleplay somehow by a real life situation and when I told him I had a voice activation key in my pocket, I then told him to please close his ears so he wouldn’t hear the “password” . Since he complied I thought everything was fine, me being oblivious, this was not the case. And I would just like to end this off with this server is handled very well and it brings my friends and I lots of laughs and fun after having a hard day at school or anywhere. And upon my return, IF I return, I would like to say that I will make sure nothing like this ever happens again because it really sucks missing out on all the fun stuff on this one of a kind server.

So have you actually gone and read our rules properly now? Can you quote the rules you were banned for + the ones aiden mentioned and explain what they mean?

 
What I was banned for - (2.4) Using any exploits such as looting dead bodies, duplication of items or money, using the ‘Flip Vehicle’ feature outside of its intended purpose, transferring / processing items through walls and windows,and locking doors that have been broken into before 10 minutes have passed, IE those that have been bolt-cut. Punishment is a permanent ban without appeal. If you discover an exploit that nobody else knows about, please reveal it to a staff member privately in order to ensure that it does not be abused in the future. 

You cannot lock your house doors if someone has broken into them, because it is unfair of how long it takes to break in and you can just close it super easily. My mistake was closing the door when the cops broke in and I was handcuffed.

The ones Aiden mentioned - 

1. (2.8) Threats to report / disputes / Breaking RP in Voice. There are so many people on the server with all different points of view and disputes and disagreements are all part of the game, however please do not discuss them in-game also do not break RP in voice. For example if someone has RDM’ed you discussing this on the server or saying “I am going to report you” is not allowed. Please use the forums or teamspeak to report or discuss only (Punishment is a ban) Exception: You may contact someone using the text system if they are not on teamspeak or on the forums. Please only attempt to make this contact in effort to resolve the issue, not to antagonise the other player/users/members.

You are not allowed to threaten to report someone using your microphone, in OOC, passing a note, etc. Instead call them into TS nicely.

2. (1.3) Swearing at someone outside of roleplay is not tolerated and will be punished by a ban.

You cannot start cursing at anyone or say anything like "retarded" because some people May find that offensive.  You can't do this in OOC or anywhere outside of roleplay.

Finally, I have read all the rules properly  and understand the meanings behind them. These were some idiotic mistakes on my part that will NOT happen again. If somehow they did happen again, I understand the consequences.

(2.1) Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).

You cannot use your vehicle as a weapon to escape from getting robbed, kill someone, etc. This is because it makes the game unfair for the other player since they are unable to move from their spot, ruining their play.

NLR - You cannot come back to the place where you just died for 15 minutes and you have to stay at least 1 KM (1000 M) away from the situation.

It wouldn't make sense if you came back because it defeats the whole purpose of roleplaying, + if in a combat situation it would make it very unfair to come back and kill whoever is on the enemy side.
