I was banned for shooting Ant Arni after he attempted to kill me.
Why should we unban you ?

I completely agree with Alfred that my roleplay was not sufficient to kill Ant based on my roleplay. I was also aware of this in the situation hence why I also didn't shoot. After I said final warning if he had still not surrendered I would have told him something in the lines of "Sir I really don't want to shoot you, but you if do not comply I am going to have to knock you out". I didn't shoot Arni because of my roleplay. I shot him because he started shooting me.
I understand your statement that my roleplay forced a situation where roleplay could not have continued, but I do not believe this is the case. Firstly Ant constantly ran away from me and kept seeking cover. He could have easily stopped and talked to me. I understand that he did asks me if we could talk about it, but he did choose to keep running for cover. I don't think my roleplay didn't give him an opportunity to roleplay. If he had simply stopped going for cover and talked the situation would have been so much different as this would have given me time and safety. We wanted to take some police hostage. I believe hostage situations are some of the most high quality roleplay sessions you can have. If he had complied or simply talked then I am certain that we would have had a blast roleplaying.
The rule is this:
“(7.1.3) Killing someone must be carried out with high quality roleplay, “put your hands up or I will shoot” etc is considered low quality RP and may lead to a ban for RDM/Fail RP. Executing another player must also be carried out with high quality roleplay, the only exception to this rule is if both you and the victim are engaged in a gunfight together.”
I did not kill anybody based on my roleplay or Ants Arnis roleplay. I shot because Ant shot at me. If he had not shot then I wouldn’t have just gunned him down. I understand the rule as the person firing first must perform high quality roleplay, but when Ant decided to attempt to spray me that then it was pure self-defense. I still believe I was in the right to shoot Ant Arni as he fired upon me, but like I explained if I had shot based on my roleplay it would have been very poor. I believe I deserve to be unbanned since I did not shoot first. If I would have shot first it would have been very bad, but I believe since Ant shot I had every right to shoot him regardless of what happened prior. My roleplay had nothing to do with me shooting Arni. I was in support and talked with staff lv 4 about this situation and he didn’t mention anything about my roleplay or me being in the wrong to shoot.
Looking back to this post about state of roleplay. It is always a good way to ensure you always preform good roleplay. Before you shoot always ask yourself the question “Did I give high quality roleplay before starting to shoot”. The answer to this would have been no. I would have never fired during this situation if Ant had not fired at me first. I had only talked to Ant for a matter of seconds. Also why I was surprised he shot at me. I always make sure that I make a situation enjoyable for both sides giving everybody a chance to have fun. I strongly believe that if he had surrender or simply stopped running around for cover we could have had so much fun. I don't think that I gave high quality roleplay to Ant for me to shoot which is also why I did not shoot him. Similar to me Ant didn't give high quality roleplay either and fired upon me. At that point he gave no choice but to kill him. It was a clear case of self defence.

As for the warnings from within the last 6 months for RDM and Fail RP. I'm assuming these are the ones correct me if im wrong. These are the only warnings I have been informed about apart from one from Nalurah for landing in GZ.

The report is about two very obvious trolls. Combat logging and trolling. My temper got the better of me and I lowered my roleplay standard. This was a long time ago (5 months) I truly believe I have improved and have not been affected by other peoples rulebreak for me to break any rules.

We were doing an RBA. A cop pulls up next to the trucks in a prowler with a gunner in it only 1 kilometer away. I shoot the gunner off. We resolved it and I apologized for my actions. I was told it was resolved and then later got reported for it anyways. I admit I was in the wrong and I have been careful ever since to ensure it does not happen again. Mistakes happen to everybody. Right after the situation I admitted to being in the wrong and immediately apologized to the officer, however he was not happy to let it go unpunished.
Been here since 2014 and not too far off from my 4 year anniversary. If I was here to break rules and create trouble then I wouldnt have lasted this long. I have put tons of hours and dedication towards the community as a whole. Yes I have made mistake just like everybody else. I have been here for nearly 4 years and I would hate to leave now. I wont write up stories of what good I have done for the community etc, but I strongly think that I deserve to be unbanned.
