I was banned for providing poor roleplay and metagaming.

Why should we unban you ?
First off. I am very sorry for my actions. I have been banned for metagaming and poor roleplay. There is no excuse for my actions. It is all my fault and nobody else. My roleplay was on the lowest level it has ever been since my return to the server. After reviewing the video, I completely understand why you see my roleplay as piss poor. At the time of the situation I was pissed at the police. I had just been killed and jailed by the cops. I had just geared up for the third time by losing gear to the cops. I should have logged off. I decided to keep playing while being too mad to play. My anger ended up affected me roleplay heavily. As it also displays from my microphone I am very mad. I apologize for this. I can assure you this will not happen again. I have been back for 6 months without a single complaint about me. That made me too relaxed and made me think of myself as untouchable. If this would have been right after my latest unban I would have given good roleplay even when mad or just simply logged out. This ban is sort of like a wakeup call for me. I am truly sorry for my actions.

Regarding metagaming I am not quite sure what exactly it is based on, but I am guessing it is me writing on steam please correct me if I am wrong. At the time we had no intention of doing anything about me. Everybody was logged off apart from Vlad. I did not believe it was metagaming since I still had comms at the time and the fact that we would not gain anything from the information within roleplay. I was simply letting him know I was not in trouble with a rulebreak or something like that.

I am very aware these are not excuses for my actions. I made two very big mistakes. I have stated the reason for my actions. This does not make me innocent. These are not even close to valid excuses for rulebreaking.

I hope that I can be granted a second chance. I have been back on the island since January 2016. Been a members for over 2 years. I believe that since my latest return I have been creating more roleplay than I have ever done before in the other 1,5 years of membership. I have become a far better roleplayer. I am praying the staff have noticed it. I have put a lot of effort into creating new and entertaining roleplay.
I am not sure what else to say. I have been trying to do my best to create roleplay both ingame and on the forums. I was having a very bad day and I messed up deeply. Once again I apologize for my actions. Especially with Tanoa coming out very soon. I would be very sad if I had to leave the community. I respect the decision made by @Thesoldier I agree with him that I messed up. I am more than happy to talk on teamspeak about my unban if you want to.

The video was removed as soon as the ppc was denied. I thougt the situation was dealt with. @Thesoldiertook action after it was removed. I will check if I have the raw file still on my pc.

Sorry for the waiting time had to recover the file and then render and upload it again. I cut off the start as the rulebreaking starts about 25-30 mins into the original video. If you want the full video it is just about an hour long and it will take me a long time to render and upload. 

 In this video the metagaming is around 11 mins. I message vlad on steam that I am talking with the police. At the time I did not really think of it as metagaming. All of our members had logged off, I still had comms and we didnt get any kind of advantage of it. It was purely to let him know what was going on to give him an idea of when the situation was done. I thought of it as out of roleplay since it would be the same as if a mate of mine texted me when I would be ready for going out and I would respond I am just talking to the cops on arma. The rest of the video speaks for it self. And im not proud of it.

As I said if you need the full video let me know, however this video contains both rulebreaks. Was easier for me and saved me some time. Hopefully will save some time of yours aswell.

Had input from Thesoldier, basically using steam to chat to other gang members is considered metagaming and you admit that yourself. I like the honesty here Mr Cool and I think it was just a bad day at the office. 

 If you ever get in this situation again or feel the same way towards the roleplay what would you do? It's important to maintain high quality roleplay so others are not effected.

The problem I had was that I played too much. Since I have holiday I played a lot of hours each day in a row. I did not take breaks. If I got mad about something that happened, I would just keep playing. I was very mad at the time. The only thing I had in my head was that I was going to do a complaint about this. I completely forgot about roleplay. The most important thing that makes us join the server every day. 

If I get mad about something ingame. I will logg out after the situation is done to clear my head. Take a bath, do some workout, make some food, get something to drink, walk with the dog. I should have taken a break that day and I am very sorry for not doing so. 

If for some reason, I am mad during a situation (At this point I should probably have logged out beforehand). I will do my best to still provide the best roleplay I can. As you mention staying at a high quality of roleplay is very important. The server has to be enjoyable for everybody. And if I am not having fun, then the least I can do is to make sure others are having fun. Because acting the way I did makes it fun for nobody. At the end of the day it is all about having fun and if I am ruining that experience for other people I should simply not be allowed here. This ban has been a wakeup call for me. I am very sorry for my actions and I hope I can be granted access to your lovely servers again.

When you post a video in a PCC you have made a public record of everything that went on in that situation. If you break a rule here or there, staff will usually not bother because we do not want to discourage people from posting valid complaints against the police faction. However when you break multiple rules and the public reports it to a staff, our hand is forced.

Here at RPUK we take the rules and roleplay very seriously. Please read over the rules before you play again, because if you reoffend within a 3 month period from this date you find yourself subject to a permanent ban without appeal.
