Hello

I was speaking to my friend in Teamspeak when he decided to post a thread on the forums making a joke regarding the state of the Malden server, he was in turn 1.6ed. At that point I decided that the ban in turn was unfair and posted a meme on the original post making fun of the situation, this did not help deescalate the situation and caused more of a nuisance than if I had not of posted it, at this point I was 1.6'ed for providing to the drama in the thread.

Why should we unban you ?
I understand that by posting the joke on the thread that I was further disrupting the situation rather than leaving it alone, furthermore the joke posted was in bad taste and not necessary. I have been a player of the server for a while and once again wish to contribute again. I understand the reason I was banned and wish it can be resolved.

@Comrade Jee BusI wouldn't call a badly edited hearts of iron style popup a joke, very poor

A lot of work went into Malden and it was important we got it right not rushed it like the entitled little assholes moaning wanted, As you now see every Malden server failed and the one thats popular at the moment is even failing and moving away from that map.

Your previous account as some very questionable posts... I do wonder are you just trying to impress your friends when posting on the forums ? Help me understand what goes through your head before pressing submit ?

The issue to begin with was with my friend being banned not Malden furthermore we had no issue with the state of Malden at the time which is why the threads were posted in the jokes and comedy section rather than another section on the forums, if a threatening post was to be made it would have been in a different sub forum. As stated it was inappropriate for the situation, although from your point of view it wasn't a joke but that's besides the point.  

Regarding the state of my previous account I'm unable to see the link between the post made and previous posts but even If I were to take into account other posts made in the past, none of them have actually broken any rules and in the context of the majority of them being posted seem justified, using the example of the previous post "Confused small child has arrived" which I assume is the post I assume caught your eye as the other posts made seem quite justified, the post in question was in context due to myself being possibly young compared to other players and making sense from an RP standpoint. 

Although the points stated from my standpoint may be correct from my standpoint I am able to see your side of the argument being that we were making a joke at Maldens expense.

Now to cast your mind back, the initial post may have been considered a tongue in cheek joke, though at the expense of developers who had spent time working on the Malden server. It's posts like these that stop devs communicating with the playerbase, because as soon as something is even hinted at, people want it, there and then. This is not always possible due to the fact that development takes time and that nobody is employed, time is given for free when people have the time to spare. Devs, staff and management are not paid for the countless hours they spend on the server, trying to make it an enjoyable place for people to spend their time, and it really does begin to grate on all of us when posts like these are made with basically no forethought, after all we are only human.

The comments further down that thread made it clear that it wasn't exactly the joke it was made out to be, with Joe becoming combative, as you were all in a channel and the fact your response essentially mirrored Joe's, you are deemed to be as involved as he was. Then to come out with the HoI esque popup was only adding further fuel to the fire. Wilco may have also been referring to the post in which you referred to AVC (Altis Volunteer Corps) as 'The Abortion'

Honestly off the bacck of what you and your friend did, what did you expect to happen?

I agree that the thread did become a more serious of topics but when I commented I was still inclined to believe the topic was a joke,  this is the reason I stopped commenting once the thread did become more serious. And when I did say 'We' i was referring to not just me and Joe but other people within the channel at the time, some other members were banned for the same reason i was banned although with Joe being the exception.

With me being a member of the AVC there was a running gag about the amount of times the AVC was recreated and this was within context of this gag, although i can see how without context this can seem odd.

Well at the time it did seem right to defend my friend but in hindsight it could have been done in a better way as is obvious 

In conclusion I do take responsibility for what I did and I completely agree with the idea that the situation could of handled much better on my end.
