In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned in regards to a video from this afternoon. In the video it appears to show me to be deliberately refusing to exit a rebels vehicle or leave an ongoing combat situation. Given that you can’t see the whole context of the situation in the video (due to the distance of the recorder from the situation) I believe that the evidence has been understably misconstrued as worst case scenario. I completely understand and can appreciate the reasoning behind the ban and understand there is a questionable lack of professionalism in the way I ended up on the vehicle in the first place.
Why should we unban you ?
Unfortunately what the video was unable to show from several 100 metres away was the situation at the quilin. The vehicle was locked for 99% of the situation - rendering me unable to exit the vehicle and thus the area while the shots were being fired. When the vehicle was briefly unlocked the relocked I pressed space which switched my seats. After a moment of hesitation I decided to drive the vehicle away in the hope of avoiding being shot at while trapped inside. In hindsight this probably wasn’t wise and I should have waited however my attempts to communicate with the rebel outside I believe were in vehicle chat causing confusion in the communication.
Immediately after this situation took place I sent a message to Drex (the videoer) to discuss a resolution with his friends who owned the quilin and I found out were new to the server so were learning about shooting medics, vehicle physics etc. In teamspeak I managed to speak to both Drex and his friends and come to a suitable resolution where they were happy with the outcome after I explained my point of view.
Overall I’m an honest and non-malicious player and meant no harm, offence or ill will to any party involved and I think there was a clear communication issue which led to a massive mess which only really made sense to everyone after discussing it on teamspeak with Nalurah and those involved.
