Reason given for your ban.
2.1 VDM

The Server you initially were banned on.
Server 1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned for VDM'ing (2.1), I ran my truck into a helicopter parked in the centre of the road from a gang attempting to rob me. I had every chance to stop but broke the RP rules.

Why should we unban you ?
I've been a dedicated player in my short time on the server, and I like to get involved in any of the events thrown by players or staff. This has been my only mistake I've made on the server, I was pretty tilted from being robbed so many times and took it out on the players attempting to rob me which completely broke RP. The video footage shows I made no real attempt of RP, and I'm sorry for acting like a dick to the players I took it out on. All I can say that in the future I'll stick completely to the rules (and have already gone over the rules again), and have done since that incident happened on the 6th. It'd be a shame for the ban to be permanent since the server is so much fun!

So to clear things sup here.

Please quote the rules your broke, then explain them to us in your own words.

Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).
I broke rule 2.1, which is Vehicle Deathmatch (or VDM). Basically this is breaking RP, by using a vehicle as a weapon to kill players, or to blow up / destroy other players property (such as a helicopter in my case). Three vehicles (Hunters, Ifrits & Striders) are exempt from ramming - but must engage in suitable RP prior to actually ramming another vehicle, this is done to stop random ramming. Ramming is done to disable to vehicles, and not to actually kill the players. If these vehicles have been chasing for over 3 minutes, they are allowed to start ramming. Breaking any of these rules will result in a ban.

If this situation was to happen again, I will be far more careful about the rules and engage in RP.

Why do you think we have this rule in place?

To stop players from having any excuse to RAM or run over a player, but also for RP reasons. Like in my situation, it was unrealistic (and also unfair) to just ram the vehicle, destroy it. It makes for bad RP. Realistically, a person would stop, but if a player is driving a Hemtt they have an advantage since they could easily drive through vehicles with little to no damage - having this rule in place stops that, and has the player act accordingly to the RP situation instead of just killing players and making a quick escape.
