In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I think i was banned because of a miscommunication on my part and Stoneman's part because i'm guessing all he saw was me killing two guys in the chat and they probably just yelled RDM. Three guys were in Zaros when me and my friend landed in our helicopter to buy a handgun. I was on edge at first because out of the three guys, two were carrying pistols. I got money out of the ATM when my friend says, "these guys have left their truck unlocked" and he took it. The 3 guys in town (2 armed 1 unarmed) saw this and as i left the gun-store with my rook, one of them shot at me and proceeded to chase me on foot through Zaros. I lost them and i was in third person peeking over walls when i see them approach my helicopter. Because they had fired on me about a minute before this, i left my cover and opened fire on them, killing both (I couldn't tell if the one doing the picking was armed or not). When i approached the bodies, i heard one say "why did you shoot me man, i was fixing your helicopter" (he was picking it btw) when i realized he was lying because my helicopter was undamaged at the time. When i was about to enter my helicopter, i was kicked form the game without warning. ( I never found out where the third player went)

Why should we unban you ?
I think i should be un-banned because i have had no other trouble in this server, i really enjoy playing it and i feel the ban was unjustified. I was only finishing a gunfight which these people had started when they took shots at me and i'm a bit confused that i was the one getting the ban when they shot at me first without any prior role-play or communications with myself.

This is nothing but it shows how my recording is completely broken and how unfortunately i cannot seem to retrieve the last ten minutes of the video, and my 3-5 mins of evidence is at the end because i used instant replay. I'm sorry that i cannot use my evidence but i still would like my ban appeal considered, given my detailed account of the incident.

Sure, I was with a chap who found a helicopter, he started to pick lock it and I was standing next to him. Suddenly myself and this other guy are shot and killed out of nowhere by “IM BLUE”. No High quality RP before hand or any type of communication. Revived myself so I could chat to him but he just killed me again. Couldn’t revive myself after that. I believe I have a video - I will check.

wait you revived yourself, i thought it was a bug so i put you down. And as for the rp part, i'd seen the guys you were with fire on me about a min before i killed you so i assumed you were the picklocking guy's muscle. You could have spoke to me out of roleplay on the ground before you self rezzed to announce that you were trying to speak to me as admin

then i probably would not have been banned because the guy picking me had a guy the exact same as you take a shot at me and you had the same gun as him. I was defending my property but if i knew you were there as a bystander, i would have not shot you but you had a gun and i felt if i stopped the other guy from stealing my heli, you would have just killed me

 
The main point here is RDM - you shot us both without any RP - you never said anything. If I would have just killed you as you said then that would have also been RDM. You had the advantage on us and a simple interaction or “move away boys” would have been enough for me to leg it or play out some fun RP. If the other guy decided to shoot you then he would be in the same boat as you.

 Some one randomly shooting at you (which I didn’t see or hear as I was with a guy at the RBA) isn’t high quality RP. Once I’m down and I can’t self revive to deal with you I can’t do anything as an admin. I can’t let someone who doesn’t talk or RP run about with a weapon around a town full of people.

Maybe there is a chance, you started shooting at 2 different people. who had nothing to do 
with the guys that shot at you earlier? do you think this is a possible? 

 
I thought the two guys @ my heli were part of the group of 3 that shot at me because when i flew over there was only 3 guys in Zaros and i had a birds-eye view

I think an un-ban is possible but i think if i get un-banned i'm gonna have to go over the rules again VERY carefully and make sure i never get involved in something like this again.

 
all i want to do is get un-banned because my friends just got arma and got it for this server. I want to play with them and have fun because that's why i joined this server, to have fun roleplaying

I don't even know what that means, but i apologise and hope to be un-banned if my case is thought to be good enough, thanks for reading.

 
Hello Bob,

After reading all the replies given to this thread, I`ve decided to give you a chance to play here again. 

As you stated earlier, read the rules carefully inplaced. 

I hope you learned your lesson and will keep your RP up to the standards we desire around here.
