Combat Logging

The Server you initially were banned on.
Server 1

In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
This ban occurred exactly 5 months ago today and if I am being honest I cannot remember why I would of combat logged and have never done so before. I promise I will not break this rule again and can't wait to join back to the community. :)

Why should we unban you ?
I can promise to never break the rules again and am only spending my time making this unban appeal as this is my favourite server with the best community and I would really enjoy to be playing on it once again.

You combatlogged mere seconds after you died. People do this to have a chance to save their gear, by disconnecting before the server has received the information of you being killed. Because of this chance to save gear, logging out seconds after beng killed, without waiting for the respawn button to become active.

You say you don't remember why you would have combatlogged, I think this may be because of your interpretation of combatlogging. it does not always mean logging out while in active combat. On our community, logging out within seconds after being killed, in whatever way, is also considered combatlogging.

Please try and remember something about this incident and explain your actions. Usually a combatlog means a permanent ban, meaning you need to wait 6 months to appeal, which would mean you are eligible to do one in exactly one month. But, since the rules leave us with the option of allowing you to try and appeal it, I encourage you to do so here.

If the explanation is not sufficient, the ban will stand and you can file a permanent ban appeal in a months time.

Oh I see, I was not aware that logging out after dying was considered combat logging. Sometimes I may do this if I rage quit after losing my gear. Now that I am aware of this rule I will promise to never break it again and I will read through the other rules to ensure that I do not break any others.

Thank you for your fast reply

Elliot.

Good that you can remember the situation.

What would you do differently if you were mad about losing gear instead of just closing the game?

Please reply soon or this dispute will time out.
