In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I believe I was banned for combat logging because the admin saw me quit the game after I crashed my hellcat into a hill (accidentally) which then lead to me dying (bleeding out). I then was impatient and quit the game because I was bored which resulted in a rule break of 2.5. I assume the admin thought I was quitting because I was trying to save my gear or something like that which was certainly not my intention I can assure you. The main story line to why I was even flying was that I was taking my helicopter back to store in the airport as my friend and I had just been flying around looking for a house to buy, but he'd quit and left me alone so that's why I felt there was no reason for waiting around afterwards for me to probably just bleed to death as there were not many medics on at the time.

Why should we unban you ?
I feel that I deserve another chance as we all make mistakes from time to time. I've been banned for almost 6 months now and would really love to rejoin this great community. I sincerely apologise for breaking rule 2.5 (combat logging) because I remember the amount of fun I had on the RPUK RPG servers, it was fun that simply couldn't be found on any other English Arma 3 servers. In addition, I would like to make it clear that it wasn't my intention to "save gear", however at the same time it was inexcusable for me not to be aware of the rules considering the length of time prior to this that I'd been a member for. Lastly, I feel that in the scenario that caused my ban it wasn't a particularly severe rule break as it only affected me and no one else as I was in the middle of nowhere.

Since you feel it not really a server rule break since it only  affected you,  then please find the rule you broke and quote it to us, then explain the rule in your own words and then explain why we have that rule in place

 
Firstly, I would like to be clear on any misunderstandings I have not said that I feel it was not a server rule break, what I did say was "I feel the scenario that caused my ban wasn't a particularly severe rule break" I still view it as a rulebreak. 
The rule I broke was 2.5 Combat Logging

"Combat logging at any point during RP is exploiting. Some examples of this include: logging out during a firefight, being chased by the police, arrested by the police, while dead awaiting a medic, logging out in order to save gear, rage-quitting, logging out whilst restrained/detained. Punishment is a ban. Staff can make an informed decision depending on if you’ve made an attempt to resolve the issue. We do suggest you attempt to rejoin the server and continue the roleplay (try messaging them with the mobile system first). "

My interpretation: This rule means that you cannot quit the game while in a role playing scenario / when in combat (In my scenario I wasn't really roleplaying, I was flying a helicopter back to the airport to store then log off normally, I wasn't engaging in any roleplay scenarios here).
 

Why the rule is in place: So that high-quality roleplaying is maintained at all times. It is also there to ensure that glitches cannot occur such as gear saving when quitting after you begin bleeding out.

 
So if faced with the same or similar situation again, how would you react and deal with it?

 
I would react differently as I now fully understand that quitting while bleeding out is a rule break (viewed as combat logging) and is not acceptable. I would deal with it by waiting until I have either been saved by a medic or wait until I have fully died before leaving as it's not worth me getting banned, I should have just waited instead of being impatient.

My Plans: To play as a civilian and do various tasks to earn money e.g. mining, uranium, robbing. I want to also try out a different role playing style by joining the police so I can experience it, as it will make a change from being chased and arrested to doing that to others (I feel like I've played lots of civilian so it's time to try it from a different perspective). I would also like to re-join the medic team as it was always nice to help others and could be very fun especially if you wanted a break from being a civilian

End goal: My end goal is to be part of or create a big gang where we will do various activities and will be well-known by people who play regularly on the server. Therefore, we will strike fear into others which will make role playing very fun and ultimately expand the gang as more people will want to be part of it when they know about us.
