In your own words, Please type why you think you was banned
The reason I was banned was for stealing a car from the green zone garage in Kavala

Why should we unban you.
I played Altis life a long time ago (9-12 months) and read all the rules then. When I decided to start playing it again a couple of days ago, I thought it was not necessary to reread the rules since I was confident enough that I still knew them. One of the first things that happened to me as soon as I started playing, was that my car got stolen from the green zone garage in Kavala. At this point I thought to myself “okay, this is apparently allowed”. Therefore I attempted the same thing (this was not with the person that posted the ban appeal on me). After stealing his car, he typed in side chat “Can people just steal your car from the green zone?” to which another player replied “yeah they can, you have to be careful.” again confirming my idea that this was okay.
When I tried to do this again, (this time with the person who filed a ban appeal on me) he afterwards sent me a message via the in game phone system that he would give me five minutes to return his car, or else he would put it on the forums. So clearly he did everything he could to solve this in a mature fashion. I however, replied with a message saying it was okay to steal from a green zone. You just were not allowed to kill others there. A day later I noticed I got banned and I visited the ban appeal on the altislife.co.uk website. Afterwards, I checked the rules to see if he was in the right in this particular case; he clearly was.
I was clearly in the wrong here and should have reread the rules before my return to the Altis life community. Instead of this I assumed the other members were right about stealing cars from the green zone without a doubt. This was a mistake.
The mistake I made was a stupid one and I know participants are bound to know the rules before they start playing. I wish to make up for this however. In my opinion a ban does not offer me a way to do this. As I mentioned before the player who reported me tried to solve this issue in a mature manner. Due to a miscommunication, since I was unaware of my wrong doing at that time, this was not possible.
In my opinion, a personal in game apology combined with a compensation (by me) for the lost car (if so desired) is a more appropriate option.
To me this seems like the better solution here. This seems like a more mature way of handling things and comes closer to the reporter’s initial intention. It also seems to be more in line with the RP nature and community of the server as a whole.

In your own words explain the safezone rule for us

The green and blue safe zone areas are in game places where certain rules are applied (see rules 6A-F). These rules are used in these areas and serve to offer players safety in an area where chance of abuse is large. Therefore the rules in safe zones offer players an area that serves to protect you where you are at risk of being in a vulnerable position against possible attackers, robbers, or crimes (in my victims case: an easy car theft).

The safe zone rules offer players a safe place where they do not have to constantly look over their shoulder, being on their toes incase bad things might happen. In these areas the rules could also allow for an increase in trust and role-play with people that carry heavier weaponry than you. Since in my experience you would normally tend to avoid these players when outside a safe zone due to the risk you take of being robbed etc., when engaging them.
