In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
I was banned from the server because i crashed multiple times into a friend’s helicopter to push it into the sea. This was to prevent it from being scrapped by the police since they had just shot out the pilot.
It was a terrible attempt at pushing as i blew myself and the helicopter up.
I was banned under rule (2.1) “Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).”
Why should we unban you ?
Firstly. After going through the Rule with members of the Staff team on TS I now understand the VDM rule in much greater detail and what it entails. I have now been re-educated and I now know that VDM is not just a rule that prevents you from killing other people with a vehicle and/or damaging their goods. It covers damaging or exploding unattended/ Unmanned goods whether this be a friends or other players. So regardless of what my intentions were good or bad. I was still very much breaking server rules.
Secondly, what I did was clearly wrong looking back and in the heat of the moment I got wrapped up in doing what I thought would be best for my friend and not what was right. I would like to apologise for this and I feel stupid for what I did. I normally try not to get wrapped up in the heat of the moment and try and keep a clear head. This is so my actions stay real giving the best experience for everyone.
This time i had got completely wrapped up in the moment and couldn't see the right from the wrong.
Thirdly, I normally do “the right thing on a difficult day”. Looking back on my actions i did not do this and I am deeply ashamed of this and I will not let this happen again.
