In your own words, please type why you think you were banned.
It was a long time ago, i think it sometime 1 or 2 years ago. I really cant recall as to what incident might have caused an admin to find it necessary to ban me, i was very quiet back then so i doubt it was me saying something to an admin that would trigger it. Though it might have been me accidentally running someone over in my truck and "fleeing" the scene, back then everyone crowded around every single large truck, so youd often see people get run over at the markets.
To be fair i dont actually understand what "IF Community Ban" is supposed to refer to, so whenever you get the time to read through this, if you would be able to leave an explanation for that, i would really appreciate it.

Why should we unban you ?
I personally believe i have grown a lot in the 2ish years ive been banned, and ive played on a lot of other RP servers, where ive made a lot of awesome moments happen. In my hope that i will be able to do the same again on this server, i think that i am ready to be reentering this server.

"IF Community Ban" refers to an old gang (with the tag IF) that got a blanket ban across them for constantly breaking rules as a group, anyone within this group would've been caught by it due to the number of people breaking rules.

Considering the length of time between your initial ban and you now appealing it, can you confirm that you've read our rules and understand them all again as they've been revised multiple times?

Can you quote and explain the following rules?

  • RDM
  • VDM

Basically not lying on a hill with a weapon and shotting passerbys, also not taking an AR and just shooting on sight. To be able to shoot someone, i have to participate in an RP situation, which then MAYBE escalates to a firefight. If im in a scenario where i want to take someone hostage, i cant just start counting down, and i have to give them a warning "as you would in real life" if you will.

[SIZE=medium](2.1) Vehicle Deathmatch (also known as VDM) - Using any vehicle as a weapon (e.g running people over, causing explosions including while sling loading, ramming, etc), will result in you receiving a ban. Three vehicles are excluded from this, MRAPS (Ifrits, Hunters and Striders) can ram other MRAPS in order to disable them, yet not to kill the passengers. This is allowed as these vehicles are the only vehicles ingame that can withstand being rammed. Please note that you need to initiate roleplay before attempting to ram an MRAP. (Please note - MRAPS don't need to be initiated on in the redzone) This is to prevent random ramming on site. (Three minutes of chasing also constitutes initiation of MRAP and MRAP ramming).[/SIZE]

Basically not ramming or running over anyone, with the ONLY exception being MRAP versus MRAP, and even then, this action must only be taken to disable the vehicle, not kill the drivers and/or passengers.

[SIZE=medium](5) Losing all memories that relate to the incident that led up to, or caused the death of the player, if one decides to respawn after dying, one must not enter within 1000m of where he died for the first 15 minutes after he has respawned, he cannot join the same firefight again until the 15 minute timer has run out. NLR does not start if one has been victim to a clearcut case of RDM or VDM, nor when you get downed or disconnect.[/SIZE][SIZE=medium]
If you get downed and revived you cannot actively enter or continue any combat situation for the duration of the 15 minute timer[/SIZE]

So basically you need to give up on the RP situation that has caused your death, and go do something else while the timer runs out, and once the 15 minute timer runs out, you still cannot remember what happened, but you are allowed to go back to where you died (lets say it was a processor and you wanna make some money)

Ive got a few friends playing on here now and then, i would most likely participate in whatever theyre doing on the server, all the while participating in any roleplay scenario that we may encounter. However i do plan to play a bit on my own, and making some relations with the other players in the community. I like to think of myself as a decent RP'er ive played on a lot of other servers where, as i mentioned before, ive made a lot of good memories.
