Tweak Server Restart Schedule around 1600/2000

Brief Summary: Delay the 2000 restart until 0000 to allow for those queing for a long time to actually get sufficient time on the server before it restarts again.

Detailed Suggestion: So I have joined the server and joined a queue of about 50 people at around 16:20 today. It has just passed 18:05 before I connected. The window between restarts here is  quite short. Server restarts at 20:00. I am now 67 in the queue connecting as soon as possible from it coming up to me clicking connect.

I mentioned it and briefly discussed it on the Discord and originally held off posting as I acknowledge the 128 slots and new schedues are very new, with no doubt there has been some discussion and research into logs and server performance to pick those times. I was encouraged to post anyway the idea. I just ask if delaying to midnight would indeed be too much of an impact and ask if this can be considered when the RPUK team review the schedules again next.

Clearly the main issue is the number of players vs slots available and I get this has no quick resolution. Therefore I appreciate I have to wait to join, but knowing I only get 2 hours of play time after almost 2 hours of waiting is a bit frustrating to then have to wait a long period of time again at 20:00. From 20:00 I know I've got all night so I don't mind waiting as much.

The Pros: Better balance of waiting and playing around this time. The other restart times are further apart and do not have the same issue but appreciate the activity around those times are not as busy either.

The Cons: Server stability may decrease, server clutter.

Does this suggestion change balance on the server ? I cannot forsee it changes anything or has any impact on the server itself.

The alternative of course is not makinga roleplay server so good that so many people want to join it!

 
the reason this is in place the server can't go 4 to 12 with 128 if it did we would probably go back down to 100 slots so the server doesn't die. 4 to 12 is its busiest times and it needs a break in the middle to clear up a lot of old cars

Im not sure if you was around when we had 8pm restart only but server never lasted the whole 24 hours always crashed 2 hours in or 16 hours in the restarts prevent that

we then got the 8 and 8. because of the morning crew messing about 4 pm the server wasn't ready to deal with a influx

same with 8 after 4 hours of max another 4 hours before it starts to calm down could cause a u expected crash and progress to be lost

also your cons point out stability 

right now that is the main goal the dev team want because last month or 2 ago the server wasn't playable. 

 
That's understandable. I wasn't around when the schedules were less frequent on 128, but figured there might be some reason the gap was smaller around the afternoon which I expected was peak times.

It wouldn't be a problem, but the queue hit 100+ today I believe and a friend had a 3 hour join time after 20:00. As said at 16:00 I had a 2 hour wait, played 2 hours then another 2 hour wait as I wasn't lucky to get ahead in the queue. Over 6 hours, 4 of it was in the queue. Of course, there's no point easing up on the restarts and slots if the server is going to give up and it will be what it will be.

hopefully with the dev team on a role with optimising it shouldn't be forever until we cna increase slots again

 
Wouldn't need a car cleanup if people who don't RP are banned quicker. Too man GTA Onliners here over people looking for good RP. Shame.
